I've been making these insect/taxidermy terrariums for the past few years but this year started doing markets/selling them and was commissioned to make this as a gift and the person absolutely loved it!! they said it was their favourite gift they received - it was so awesome getting to watch them open it and see their reaction 💜
It's gorgeous but not taxidermy
Agreed this is not taxidermy. There’s one dried out bug and a bunch of plastic trinkets
There’s preserved insects in there, is that not considered an area of taxidermy? (Genuine question)
I think it would be best suited for r/insectpinning since the community exists on reddit (there would also be more people who want to see your lovely work in there). I would say taxidermy mostly deals with vertebrates.
