Some recent interaction I had in (obviously) World of Darkness:
I'm MT Angry Mango, as I pulled first with a ranged attack.
Other tanks provokes and boss slightly spins.
No big deal. I let him MT and just keep doing my rotation. I grab aggro again by just pressing buttons.
JUST IN CASE I position myself right on the provoke tank so there's less spinning. The provoke comes, but no spinning this time.
I grab aggro again by just pressing buttons and the boss die.
While running to the next area, I think about turning off stance, because it seems he REALLY want to tank.
But he types: "Please turn off your stance."
My only reaction was to type back: "If you're losing aggro after provoke by not doing a lvl 50 rotation properly, you're the one that should turn off your stance".
Alliance chat went crazy for a bit, he stopped provoking (maybe turned stance off too).
My favorite way to win is the rare situation where the MT concedes defeat and Shirks to me. The party can't see me Shirking on cooldown but the MT sure can haha.
I don't normally enjoy MT, but I keep stance on in case another tank dies or I need to grab an add or something. But If I'm pulling aggro off you, you lose. I'm the fucking tank now, dawg.
You wanna get slapped in the face all night? Fucking earn it.

Seriously you’re not entitled to be main tank just because you use provoke, especially if you can’t keep it to a tank NOT using orovoke
There's not enough burn heal in the world to help that guy.
Will spam Provoke off cool down but will not wear anything close to BIS or press their dps buttons.
it's really funny to make them mald in Alliance Roulette to press Provoke after they just used theirs.
Yeah the provoke spam tanks usually dont do good damage, so I'll just wait until I naturally pull aggro and then provoke in response to theirs.
It's sooooo funny to see them flip out when you do it lmao.
I don't even queue Alliance as tank wanting to to MT, but if I see a nunce spam Provoke, then I'm definitely engaging try hard mode.
if they press provoke, provoke after them and they'll never be tanking :) simple as. I prefer a good tank war, though.
When I main tank, I always hold provoke exactly for people like this lmao
If they provoke and ur provoke is on cd, just spam ur range attack. Easy
