For reference, I just moved and I wanted to mount my tv to have more room on my tv stand so that my soundbar could fit underneath. I also wanted it around the same height as it would be if I put the legs on. My sofa is low (13in. off the ground), I’m short (5’2), but I moved from a house where the tv was mounted significantly higher so idk if it’s something I need to get used to or if I should get it mounted higher. If you want to be precise: you could measure the height of the center of the TV from the floor. Then measure the height of your eyes when you’re sitting on the couch. The two measurements should be within 8 inches of each other.
I just measured and it’s barely a 1 inch difference so I’m good. Thanks so much for this, it gives me a solid range to work with.

In your usual sitting position, you should be eye level with the center of the screen. If the picture is eye level then it might be a little low, hard to tell.
Looks great. Eye-level TV is affordable luxury. Childproof it of course. I attached a tiny cable to the wall like I did a tall dresser and bookcase in my home.

Its still damn low. When a normal peson sit on a soffa to relax its not like they ait in a chair to work. Center of tv needs to be 1 meter higher atleast
