If the outlets really bother you I bet you could move them down and if you're decent at patching, they'd never notice. Or just cover them with a gallery wall or something.
Looks great to me. You being a piano player is just icing on the cake. I tried to learn piano when I was a kid, but my hands don't respond well to my brain's commands. The result was pure frustration, because I think the piano is wonderful.
I have a question about the cat tree? Is it sturdy when your cat jumps on it? My cat is a bit of a sloppy douche with bad balance, but I want to replace the tree we have with something more like that.
Honestly, if it was like a couple inches higher to cover the outlets, it would be perfect. But that's a me thing. It would bother me but most people probably won't notice it.
