So even if you put it into the right spot (which is it in the lower picture), it's still basically ass to ass on a radiator? Y'all got problems, sorry bud.
I’ve never understood this. I have a giant family and giant social circle, of which about 90% of people have their TVs on their TV stands as intended, and nobody’s kids have broken their TVs. Just teach your kids not to run around throwing shit around the room, and you won’t need to worry about broken TVs.
I agree man, all these excuses about putting your tv on the ceiling because you have little kids are bs, it’s just soft parenting nowadays. I have 3 kids and kept my tv on a tv stand and never had any issues.
It seems ceilings are the limiting factor here. If you had 15' ceilings, would you still slam it tight to the ceiling? How about 20'? 2 stories? Like, where is your limit?
Alot of people didn't get the joke so maybe it's in bad taste. The first pic is fake. Ai. I put the actually pic in the second photo. The radiator behind it is disabled
But my older sister once left a burning candle on top of the tv and it burned aaaall the way down. Mum got angry. But tv worked fine except that semi melted spot on the top.
It was in the 80's so there were no flat tv's back then if anyone's wondering how you place a candle on top of a tv. Don't try it on a flat screen. It will probably end worse.
It’s too high by about 4 feet.
When I'm standing on a stool and watching it seems not too bad
Because that's normal viewing.... right..
First one is great if you want people to join in watching thru the window. The more the merrier.

The radiator is disconnected, so it spaces out the TV from the wall a few inches which is good for the other things and cables
Your gonna have to raise the roof for it to get any higher.
You're fine in this case :) https://www.reddit.com/r/TVTooHigh/s/00psp2QcrD
Oh, you had me there for a min …
Haha ;)
Love the toddler protector 5000

Your tv on the first pic be like
What the fuck is wrong with you. What does your wife's boyfriend think?
Whenever I see kids toys I feel that it can be as high as you want.
A tv at normal height will last a maximum of one week if the kids are having fun.

That's why I added the thing about having fun.
Kids can go outside to have fun. 😉
Yeah I was just winding him or her up a bit.
Now get another TV for right under it and it will be perfect
I wouldn’t put it directly in front of the radiator.
Unless that radiator valve is closed.
Right against a radiator?
Pic 1) wtf, do you have brain damage? Pic 2) oh ok yeah that’s not terrible…. Not great, but not terrible
Glad you moved it down
TF you watching dawg?
Looks like Tetris

I always wonder:

Picture 1 is perfect for a tv watching Giraffe who uses Reddit but anyone that doesn't rock a 5 foot long neck should probably choose picture 2 🤣
Very few things make me feel rage. This is not one of those few things.
You have a child who could hit the tv, I'd put it further up too
It is high. I would suggest to put a big piece of plexiglass in front of it. Just in case a kid throws something at the tv

Fuck AI
You have kids so we’ll give it a pass
I was a kid once and never trashed any tv's.
But my older sister once left a burning candle on top of the tv and it burned aaaall the way down. Mum got angry. But tv worked fine except that semi melted spot on the top.
