I rented this house from 1918 so I tried my best with the cards I was dealt. Technically the tv stand is a coffee table. But it’ll do. Low couch and a narrow room makes it difficult!
Technically too high but could just be an abnormally high TV stand. Maybe not an issue if ok with your TV being a little too high, could fix it potentially by swapping out with a regular sized TV stand.
Always wild to see how upset people get when their TV is too high and they get called out for it. Its always better to "measure twice, cut once" or you end up like the OP. I think people like you get upset because maybe you put the labor/effort into your TV setup and have an emotional response to the reality it's not quite right. But instead of getting so upset, just focus on problem solving and not burying your head into the sand. Yes the TV is too high in this example. Is it it a big deal? No it's not. In fact it literally doesn't matter at all if the OP is "ok" with their TV being too high.
I'm guessing you don't ever close those double doors. Might I suggest you remove them from their hinges and toss the doors in the basement for when you (or a beneficiary) eventually want to sell the place?
Beautiful decor. Would you mind letting me know where you got the coffee table? That is beautiful and would be perfect for my living room since the living room isnt very wide.
tv is perfect height and you also win for having good taste in decor. Bravo

Technically, stfu.

just cause you have trouble making eye contact and stare at the ground a lot doesn't mean everyone else does too
Dude if that’s too high, where the fuck are you supposed to put it?
Why not just put it on the floor?

It's an open door.
Yeah and it's gonna stay that way unless you move the whole entertainment center. I personally don't care, just thought it was funny
This is a tv that's at the correct height, right size and on a stand.
Take note.
Where did you get it
Looks nice
Chef’s kiss. Love your style all around.

You’ve been renting that place since 1918? You’ll have paid their mortgage by now
Proper speakers mounted on proper stands, something I never see here. Nice!
That speaker leg by the hall looks like it’s just waiting to Knick a toe
Proper
So what’s the stand?
hinges aren't that complicated. remove the door!

those speakers look sweet.
great floors
Take that door off the hinges and put it in a closet or something. Distracting.
Excellent! Excellent taste in furnishings as well. Looks oh so cozy.
So why did you post it here?

Perfection 👌
Maybe just take the door off its hinges and get rid of it.
We need a separate sub for posts that are compliant with this sub’s wishes, so we can stick to the business of roasting TVs that are too high.
I guess why post it here if it isn't too high, though...?
