The game is simple: which of these questlines in TES VI do you think will be the best and which do you think will be the worst?
Fighters Guild or regional equivalent (i e Companions)
Dark Brotherhood or regional equivalent (i e Morag Tong)
Thieves Guild or regional equivalent (most likely to get a regional for this game imo)
Mages Guild or regional equivalent (i e College of Winterhold)
Bards College????
What other factions do you want to see in TESVI
The dark brotherhood questline has always been peak
I really hope they include more bard mechanics for this game than they did previously. I don't know but I usually gravitate towards the thief factions so I'm hoping there's a good one.
I just want the factions to go back to the way they were. No more "Wow congrats newcomer, we want you to be our leader now even though we just met!" Like in skyrim. Make me feel like im entering into an established guild with lots of ranks. Let me feel like I've earned my way into a respected position (not leader). Also, if I enter the thieves guild let me do coordinated hiests, not going through Dwarven ruins. If im in the dark brotherhood give me contracts that take out political leaders so others can take their position. If im in the mages guild let me do lots of wizardy things (quests involving spell learning, alchemy, enchanting etc.) Not going into a few draugr ruins. I think morrowind did this well where when you enter a guild you start out as a nobody and people know it. And as you get better you get more respect from your peers.
100% agreed
EVEN IF ITS CHEEKS
I WILL BE AT MY PEAKS
Either way they need to be better more fleshed out. It’s a big love for people and they never seemed as good in Skyrim as they did in Oblivion
They have to all be peak by this point. This game is make it or break it now.
it’s gonna be starfield with swords
There are swords in Starfield. Starfield with swords is also Starfield.
naw you lyin
They’ll all be mediocre and make you their leader after 5 quests
GOTY. 14 re-releases. Greatest paper airplanes of all time. Bravo Emil
KEeP iT sIMpLe StUPiD
I'm hoping for a good Cheese Guild quest. I think that will be the best.
I don’t know, I just hope they truly have more guilds. Not just the same basic 4. A hunters guild, a more fleshed out Bards college equivalent, and groups like the Undaunted (an adventurers guild) and the Antiquarian Circle (a historical research guild).
A little out of the subject, but I would like factions based on other skills. Maybe a merchant faction (speech/ crafting), even if it may not be as dynamic as other ones.
Otherwise, I don't know, as I like to say : We will see...
I hope that they don't do the same as they did in Skyrim with thieves guild and dark brotherhood, back in oblivion I loved how you joined both guilds, like you had to really look for it, it felt that you found a secret in the game. I Skyrim they are thrown on your face basically, and don't get me wrong I love the dark brotherhood in Skyrim but just the introduction is not right.
Also I would like that guilds really require you to be good that their respective skills, like in Skyrim you can complete the mages guild without ever doing a single spell, or the thieves guild without ever pickpocketing anyone.
I can feel it... the Thieves guild will suck, there will be 2 Assasin's guilds, the Mage's guild will be peak, and the Fighter's guild will be divisive
I’ve always been partial to the fighters guild and the mages guild. I think/hope that the will all be good but I’m generally a big enjoyer of factions. If the games in hammerfell I bet the mages guild would have an interesting quartile though due to the Redguards perception of magic users
Whichever one makes you the leader is the one that's cheeks.
Thieves guild because it’s going to be pirate based with sailing. Speak it into existence
I want those main 4, but i also want little off shoots of factions. For example, Fighters guild but also a Knights guild you can join and do stuff. Maybe even religious warriors or something. Like a few options for each playstyle, as well as ones for specific types of builds. Pirate faction for thieves, treasure hunting faction for fighters, and knowledge seekers. Good and bad factions for each one. Maybe a group of necromancer or evil mages you can join. Also, vampire and Werecreature factions as well as hunters for those types of creatures. I'd just like more options
My honest prediction is that most of the quests and gameplay features are gonna be cheeks.
The core appeal, as with all of these games, is going to be the immersive and charming fantasy world that will feel fun to explore and exist within.
If the quests are good and the lore is deep and the mechanics are interesting, I'll be thrilled. But I'm absolutely not expecting that to be the case.
Not to be a doomer. I think I'll have more than enough fun with it when it comes out. I just think people expecting anything beyond Skyrim 2 are setting themselves up for disappointment
Hopefully the Mages Guild will be great.
Adventurers or Explorers guilds. It always baffles me that a game boiling down to Lara Crofting or Indiana Jonesing your way through ancient ruins and tombs towards often ancient treasures hasn't a faction revolving around it in the vanilla games.
I hope they bring back some form of arena combat, still my favourite part of oblivion and sadly was not anywhere as good in Skyrim
