Realistically, besides coping (I want so bad for it to be 2026 too and pray it is) what other reason is there that have ya’ll thinking 2026 possible release? I would love to hear about potential proof (with possible links to it as well if ya’ll have it).

I wanna believe so hard in 2026 but I just can’t convince myself that Bethesda would be deliberately leading us astray with how far the game is along. Would love to change my opinion and believe so hard.

I already thought so for things mentioned already, but also because Todd has been more visible. Not only that, but they’ve been SPEAKING of TESVI. The fact that he has been willing to speak about it after 7 years of radio silence to me means that marketing is about to commence

And to any that would say that a lot of the public appearance is fallout show related (because I’ve seen this stated many times), that doesn’t negate the fact that they have discussed and spoken about TESVI more in the last month than they have since the “trailer”.

I count myself among the 2026 camp because I desperately hope for it to be true. I may not have a large number of years left, or at least not where I'll still be well enough to enjoy it much. So I kind of feel like I NEED to believe in 26 or 27. It's more based on that than any proof (we don't have any hard evidence for or against any year, in truth)

This for me is the biggest piece. “Or later” is very important but up to this point we have no clue where they are in production so 2026 is still on the table.

That paired with their 3-4 year average between games is enough to keep the dream alive for me.
