Hey hey! I had a couple questions about putting NSP/NSZ/XCI Switch Roms on my modded switch.
- Am I able to save my game like normal in any game that is a switch rom?
- What do I do if the game needs to be updated/how do I know what version of the game I am using?
- How to add any corresponding DLC to any game?
- How come when I copy Switch roms over to my SD Card using DBI, I do not see the files in the "SD Card Install" folder when I go back into the folder....where did the files go?
- I see a place on my SD Card that says "Nand Install" and says I can put Switch Roms in there also....what is this folder for? I usually put everything in my "Sd Card Install" folder.
Thanks in advance!
Updates and DLC are installed the same as the base game. The correct order is installing base > Update > DLC and you should be good to go
Thank you!
So I had a light issue. I did base, update. And the game would load. Had to install the game once more after the update and it worked fine.
I had to update the game because I made a copy of my save file and it was update and not loading. Once I updated the game it loaded the game perfectly fine.
Glad you got it working
Is that normal though? That the game needs to be reinstalled after the update?
I have never had it happen, but it's possible I suppose.
I wouldn't worry about installing the bits in the right order. I usually drop 10+ games on DBI at once and let it figure it out.
Everything has worked perfectly so far.
That's good to know

I don't have experience with XCI, but I'm pretty sure it's the same.
Thank you!
Afterthought: to check the storage space or uninstall a game, go into the settings and to something like data management (I'm using another language, so can't know for sure).
