I'm thinking about switching all my PCs to Linux from Windows, but before I do my last one, I was wondering if you could keep your CFW updated. I know Linux has gotten better about running windows only programs and apps, I just want to see how Linux does with the modding pefore I take the plunge.
what program do you need to maintain your switch besides a file explorer?
Good point. So, the Linux file manager will read the Switch just fine? Honestly, I've never tried it before.
Yes, it will. Depending on your distro and your method of accessing the drive then you might or might not need to manually mount it - just like any other drive on Linux.
Thanks for the help! I'll be giving it a try soon.
Yeah I use endeavour and haven’t ran into any issues
I done everything from 0 using my android mobile dont even have a pc/laptop and can still maintain it so easily with my mobile only so that is a decent viable option
As for your question idk sorry
Then I'll give it a try on Linux, thanks for your help!
there's no Windows only program needed to take care of a switch.
so you're good.
and if you ever install linux on the switch, then linux on the desktop can read the switch Linux partition, windows can't.
so you actually have better access to your switch in some case by using linux
Do you have a v1? I’ve had issues injecting payload on Linux before. But if you have a modchip you’re good then.

Yes, don't worry about it, go ahead.
I’ve recently switch to Linux and the only inconvenience is installing games via USB, I couldn’t make neither usb loader or dbi via backend or mtp. If someone had already figure out how to install games it would be a huge help if they could share it
