  • I'm not from Suriname, but I listen to Kater Karma and Lodiliki; they are both from Suriname. I'm really interested in the answers too. Who are the most popular artists and labels so I can update my list? :-D

  • De meeste mensen zijn independent artiesten. Er zijn wel labels maar kan er even niet op komen. Grote artiesten zijn mensen zoals: Psycho maadNbad, Kater Karma, loba Lodilikie, Enver, Jackson Blai, Tranga Rugie…en zo heb je nog meer. Dan heb ik nog niet over rappers en bands. Dus het hangt af van waar je naar opzoek bent..

    Hip hop, kaseko, reggae..en the list goes on.

    Je zou ook met muziek producenten contact kunnen leggen. Oath (kevin Goedhart) is wel een bekende.

    Some more artists/bands: - Lil Young and Baad Jury (rappers) - Tekki (also a rapper, but he’s from the french border) - aptijt’s a kabula band (its bump n grind music) - Kappalani (rapper) - La Rouge (classic. I think kawina/kaseko)

    There’s also a metal band, but I can’t find the name. This is what I can come up with for now
