Seeing him in IT convinced me that Finn is a an actor with some fucking chops, but I haven't been loving Mike in the later seasons of ST, but I think that's the writers (one of the very few balls they've dropped) and not the actor. His role as the party's "heart" feels like a bit of an informed attribute, and he's basically become an accessory to Eleven at this point.
In season 5 so far, he has more to do than before so it's promising. I do feel like he has become more self conscious with his acting choices as he got older (which is common with child actors as they age) - so that might affect his performance a bit.
It's interesting that both of these monsters are extradimensional too. "Vecna" was born in Dimension X? The upside down? And It is from the Todash space.
he was amazing in IT!! I absolutely love richie, finn seemed to identify with richie more too!! he looked very comfortable in the IT BTS vids and stuff.
when I watched the hot ones interview he did with caleb, gaten, and noah, which was super uncensored, the only thought in my head was he was so richie tozier that entire interview LOL
And they’re both my favorite characters from their respective show/movie! God, I really wish IT had been a show so it could have been expanded on more. All the actors are perfect, especially Finn and Bill Skarsgård. At least we got Welcome To Derry to see more of Bill.
Too bad I find him and Millie Bobby Brown the least likable personalities on the show... I have no real basis for this and acknowledge that it's irrational.
