Steam will never contact you on Discord or any third party text communication site.
If you suspect someone is attempting to scam you check this guide but remember to be careful even if you do not find the answer you are looking for there.
Important: If you receive comments or PMs offering to recover your lost account, items, or money or pointing you to someone who will do it for you do not engage with them as they are recovery scams.
Dude... Your account is gone now. You provided the scammers with what they needed to "prove" the account was there's, now you have to go through steam support account recovery. Good luck. Next time, ask for help before it escalated. This is the most common scam on steam, and now they are using your account to run it on someone else so act fast before it actually does get banned.
Also, you where never talking to steam support. They don't use discord for that.
You weren't reported and you weren't speaking to Steam support. This is and extremely common scam. The person you were talking to was a fake Steam employee who stole your account and was trying to steal money from you.
Steam will never communicate with you through Discord or any other platform. The only way to communicate with them by using their official ticketing system on their website.
Also no support will ever ask you for money to resolve this kind of issue.
Contact the real Steam support immediately to get your account back.
No company will ask a user(1) to contact another user(2) to tell the second user to then contact the company. They would contact any relevant users themselves directly.
how tf did bro manage to find that weird ass ai pfp "support" staff credible AND then start chatting with him on fucking discord?? instead of clicking the giant "support" button at the top menu of steam webpage or the 'help' menu in the client?
this is what happens when there are no mmos for kids to get scammed in a safe environment nowdays.. real money scams are babys first scams instead of some good ol' armor trimming...
That’s a common scam. You giving them screenshots of your purchase history allowed them to get access to your steam account. Block them on Discord and contact steam to recover your account. Make sure to tell steam exactly what happened. Steam won’t ever message you on Discord.
Never for some random guy who claims he is Steam support.
Never for some random guy who wants to buy this and that and wants to talk to you via WhatsApp or whatever.
Ask yourself this:
Why would a Steam worker want money from you? They are getting paid by Valve, not by the end-user.
Why would a Steam worker need access to your account? If there's an issue, wouldn't they just ask a superior and get permission by them to log in and see whats up? They didn't, as they do not work for Valve.
Why would they communicate outside of Steam? They have your log-in info, they have your e-mail. Why won't they write an e-mail? Because they do not have it, as they are not an employee.
Sorry, your account is gone. Don't bother talking to them, don't bother sending money, do not listen to them say "We'll reinstate your money if you send us a 50 $ Steam wallet!" (again, why would they need that? Because they aren't getting paid by Valve.) - do that, and they know they got you hooked. These payment requests would not stop and the payments would only increase. 50 $ for 4 weeks, then it gets raised to 75 $ per week because "Of issues".
And remember, if Steam (or any company) has an issue, they WILL write you an e-mail.
I'm so lucky I realized it was a scammer before he got to all the payment stuff. This is a guide that shows you how to recover an account without any recovery methods. Also, if you have lost any real money, you should report it to your bank and also the police. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3456188107
Bruh, your account is gone, Steam can't use Discord or Steam Chat, you give a personal details to the scammer. Lesson learn: don't talk to stranger online
Its gone brother. U had about 25 chances to realize you were obviously being scammed. But you gave them access to everything....
Maybe a good life lesson. Now you lost your steam account, maybe in another life this didnt happen, and you would've been scammed by someone going after your bank account. NEVER TRUST PEOPLE ONLINE!
ik everyone else is being negative because op was an idiot, but cmon guys, theres a reason these scams exist, the best

tip 2: ask the support of the site itself, someone dms you ans says "talk to someone on discord for steam support" play dumb and literally go to steam support
tip 3: if you dont know someone maybe dont sent them random screenshots of personal stuff? i wouldnt show my browser historik to anyone, and you just showed some rando all your steam info?

Just don't respond to them. Block them. Report them. It's a scam. Nobody's reported you.
He thinks he was speaking to the real Steam support the whole time and doesn't realize that his account was stolen.
I didn't see the repost. Yikes. Yeah that account is probably just gone now.
I have my doubts, as they cropped out the URL out of every single screenshot. It might just be a troll.

Yeah OP gave them the Login name and the recent purchase history info in 1 screenshot, 2 very bad things to tell/show people

The premise of this scam makes no sense to begin with. You cannot force a market transaction to go through without paying.
That’s a common scam. You giving them screenshots of your purchase history allowed them to get access to your steam account. Block them on Discord and contact steam to recover your account. Make sure to tell steam exactly what happened. Steam won’t ever message you on Discord.

Help you? There is nothing to help with, that account is gone.

My guy, your account is gone. You can try with the actual steam support but anything you had worth taking will be gone

Fell for the oldest trick in the book. Accept your loss, create a new account and dont fall for these types of scams again.
