Scar looks cool and from any amount of distance no one is going to notice the change to the tattoo. I'd say you're fine to leave it. If you feel creatively compelled to add destiny that's fine but really not necessary.
Leave it. You can fill it in later if you don't like your choice. You will be hard pressed to replicate removing the ink again!

I've got loads of tattoos and quite a few have scars causing bits to be missed.
Battle scar! It's up to you, but personally would keep it that way, SG has war and exploration/adventure, so it fits into that theme as opposed to say, a delicate flower and lace tattoo getting cut.
That doesn't bode well for our moon...

I was convinced that if I clicked this, I would learn something about the world of tattoo artistry and the techniques involved. My mind raced with barely conceived idea of what that could mean. Maybe it was the name of a technique that involved manipulating the needle in a particular way... it was a mystery I needed to have answers to.Â
