I was just outside fixing one of my license plates and noticed that chill in the air. When I went to the story this morning, it was humid af and kind of warm. There's been a dull throb in my head since last night that I expect to disrespectfully intensify this evening as the temps drop.
I must find a way to appease the migraine gods because I have to work tomorrow lmao
Same, I only have a tiny vent window that I cant open because critters would come in (basement room) so the air in my room gets real stagnant without fans going.
I mowed. Mainly to use the gas and drain the mower for the season. I left plenty of leaves for the critters, just not enough to kill all of the turf. The wind is picking up now.
Same just took a nice long walk around the neighborhood. Was wearing a very thin long sleeved t-shirt and came back sweating. The clouds look super crazy out. Ominous.
Just walked outside and stood with the sunshine on my face and it felt amazing. Didn't bring my coat to work, so I will be cursing the whole way home....
It was a great day for the winter break project I am doing with my sons. We are hardscaping our backyard to redo our raised beds, put in a swale to control storm water, and prepare for new native garden beds. We got all the digging and layout done today. It will be less fun next week but we are geared up for it.
We were blessed by a butterfly that flew into our garden while we worked. I guess because it was so warm. I didn’t get to see it up close to I’d but maybe a Mourning Cloak? They also overwinter as adults.
Climate change is what it is. I prefer warmer weather though, so I've definitely been getting out and enjoying the weather this past week before the cold front moves through.

Too light. I need some weight on me to get a proper sleep. And my fan would blow the sheet right off me.
I also need some weight from my blanket to fall asleep. No blanket/just a sheet would honestly keep me awake more than being kind of hot would.
