Many years ago, I had once researched that 18.5 seconds was the soft ceiling for a NASCAR team to fix a car and get it out of the pitt. Am I insane? Because I now find no evidence whatsoever that this was ever a thing?
Now it's below 10 seconds. Teams where able to get down to 12 seconds being the golden standard but since they went to single lug it became 10 or less.
That was the norm for a while in the 90’s I wanna say. 14 seconds was also a target for quite some time
Yea, it would have been long ago. Thanks for verifying that.

90’s was around then.
2000’s was 13-15
2010’s was 12-13
Now, I’ve heard a 7.9 is possible.
