I’m in Washington Township and it’s a winter wonderland! Got my curtains open and my Christmas tree on enjoying the vibes and my almost 2 year old looking out the window saying woooowww 🥰
Trailer! We have heat and an electric fireplace. The dogs are loving the snow. Just took a walk down to the lake. We’re down toward the shore a bit. It’s so pretty in the woods right now
Aw man! Mine was born in December upstate NY so whenever she sees snow I like to think she's thinking of playing with her littermates at 10 weeks old. She runs around acting crazy in the snow
I was the only person at the Mullica River campground in Wharton State Forest last night. Y'all missed out because waking up to a winter wonderland that I had all to myself was pure magic, what an experience.
i remember digging tunnels under the ice covered snow that i could crawl through as a teenager, and then the ice was thick enough to carry my weight over the tunnels
Looking at my mailbox you'd think there's 7 inches on the ground but it's like about 2 inches that stuck on the ground near me and all the objects above ground have a lot more snow on them.
Last night I went to my office Christmas party and my bf stayed over so he wouldn’t have to drive in the weather. We were smoking a joint on the porch listening to Christmas music and we were just standing there watching it fall. I honestly wish I could’ve stayed in that moment so long because it was so beautiful and quiet after a loud overwhelming party in the arms of the man I love. Tbh I’m tearing up thinking about it. It sucked digging the cars out today but I’d do it all over again to have the same moment again.
*Laughs in Buffalo, NY* I used to live in Buffalo so I'm used to a metric shit-ton of snow! This is really exciting though, I felt like a little kid seeing the snow out my window this morning haha
I work in a salon and they still had us come in at 9am with no delay :(
Camden/Burlington county main roads are "ok" but if i hadnt gotten a ride i would be home enjoying it with everyone else, stay home!
if it was my full time job, sure I probably would go (even tho they’re more likely to close) but for a 4 hours retail shift (my second job) making a few cents over minimum wage? nah not worth messing up the 20k car I have. I’m glad you got a ride tho stay safe !!
I was supposed to drive from Swedesboro to Jackson at 4am this morning to work a one day flea market/show and said fuck it, nope. I hate eating my table fees but I'd be out a lot more $$ if I crashed, plus I don't know how many people will bother to go out for a shopping event even later today.
I drove this morning around 6:30ish to Wilmington from Mantua and it wasn’t great but the plows are out. I would wait another hour or so before attempting.
It really not, we’ve had a lot more years ago. So much almost everything closed down. I remember driving to work in my mustang in almost double this. Mostly on a highway that was cleared the back streets not so much. My husband did snow removal so I had to dig out my car by myself and drive to work because he slept at his parent’s house since that’s the town they worked in. I don’t have to now because I’m living with my daughter and sil and it’s his job. Next year I’m better it will be my grandson’s job.
I remember when we really started to get the mild snowless winters in the 90s. That decade was the beginning of some weird warm winter days but you would still get some brutal winters every three years or so. The weather channel observations of a Geriatric Millennial!

Years ago I had fun going out in my 4x4 with my camera and getting some nice Christmas-decorations-in-the snow shots. Plus bonus sledders sometimes.
Sounds like lots of fun!!
We used to sled down the dump on Delsea Dr.
My house sits on a hill so when my daughter is older she’s got a prime place to sled
It’s beautiful isn’t it!
I’m from Twp and loved when it snowed.
Our house is surrounded my trees so it’s always so pretty when it snows we love it
aww <3

Evesham. We’ve got a pretty solid amount and it’s still going.
We’re camping right now hahaha
Oh wow, where are you camping and what style? Tent or trailer?
Trailer! We have heat and an electric fireplace. The dogs are loving the snow. Just took a walk down to the lake. We’re down toward the shore a bit. It’s so pretty in the woods right now
Oh my god I’m so fucking happy guys, what a gorgeous snowstorm
It is indeed very pretty when seen from inside my warm dry house.
My dog is about to experience her first real snow!
Aw man! Mine was born in December upstate NY so whenever she sees snow I like to think she's thinking of playing with her littermates at 10 weeks old. She runs around acting crazy in the snow
It was great! She caught so many zoomies in the snow! 😂

I always wait til January 😉

That sounds amazing! What an experience!
This ain't snow. I was there in 96.
I was here in '78.

Yeah, right? I remember that. For a week, the roads were all just...snow tunnels.
That is one hella’ nuclear snowstorm!
My then-girlfriend ignored the warnings and went to visit her grandparents in the nursing home. That was a fun week for her.
And 93
i remember 93 as being bigger than 96
Exactly.
i remember digging tunnels under the ice covered snow that i could crawl through as a teenager, and then the ice was thick enough to carry my weight over the tunnels
I feel like people seem to forget/overlook the 93 storm for some reason.
My dad was off work for a week in 96
I want to upvote this but it has 96 upvotes.
78’
It’s still coming down hard too

I was very happy to see my neighborhood get snow this morning. It usually doesn’t snow until January here in Barnegat Township.
Tis but a dusting
Anything less than a foot is a mere flurry
are you my wife?
I’m looking out the window at my neighbors yard, it’s a winter wonderland. Glad I don’t have to go anywhere today or tomorrow
Burlington Township here...looks like between 2" - 4" out there now, and still coming down! It's beautiful, but I'm not a fan.
Same. Beautiful to look at, terrible to shovel.
Its nice and fluffy, was pretty easy to do a first pass just now, dont wait for it to harden lol!
Perfect time to bake cookies or wrap presents!! Already shoveled, go out in an hour or so to clean up
this aint a lot.
this is a starter amount.
need more.
😆😆😆 Had to give the snowblower a good crank today with the 7️⃣inches I got. Way out in western Hunterdon county!
Joke's on you, I live in an apartment. The snow removal service is out there right now doing their thing!
I live in an apartment too and they didn’t even salt the roads around my complex 😩
My lawn guys do snow in the winter. They'll be around later I guess. I'm too old for that shit.
The maintenance guys at my apt were out there first thing this morning and are out there for round 2 now.
Got over 6” here!
Just spend an hour smoking in an almost untouched field and it felt amazing
ganja?
Of course!
my man lmao
Probably one of the best ones we’ve had for years!
Yeah wtf it actually happened. Dogs will have a blast today
Apple weather app is still telling me we only got half an inch of snow. I think it may be a little inaccurate
Mine has been saying it’s just sleet all morning 💀
I’m still pissed that Apple bought out Dark Sky. That shit was so accurate😭
What is apple's weather app smoking, I was complaining about its inaccuracy all morning.
Looking at my mailbox you'd think there's 7 inches on the ground but it's like about 2 inches that stuck on the ground near me and all the objects above ground have a lot more snow on them.
It's paradise right now, light and fluffy. At 3am it was the thick wet heavy snow
Finally, some real snow.
I’m loving it!!
YAYYYYYYYY

Damnit. Delayed in Palm fucking Beach and missing the snow.
*Laughs in Buffalo, NY* I used to live in Buffalo so I'm used to a metric shit-ton of snow! This is really exciting though, I felt like a little kid seeing the snow out my window this morning haha
Anyone drive in this yet? is it safe or should I just stay home?
I'd at least wait til the afternoon if you can. Give plows and shovels time to do their thing
I work in a salon and they still had us come in at 9am with no delay :( Camden/Burlington county main roads are "ok" but if i hadnt gotten a ride i would be home enjoying it with everyone else, stay home!

I agree! Not worth the risk with the car, i always say the same thing
Please. If you have to ask, stay home if you can.
thank you, everyone. I wasn’t planning to. only got FWD on my car would rather not risk it for a 4 hour retail shift
looking at my 12pm retail shift going eeeeeeeh
I was supposed to be 11:30-3:30 but I called out.
ooof i would have def called out for 4 hours. unfortunately im 12-9 and the ch mall never closes lol
I drove this morning around 6:30ish to Wilmington from Mantua and it wasn’t great but the plows are out. I would wait another hour or so before attempting.
staying in
I live in an apartment that’s not my problem <3 I can strictly enjoy
Until you have to clean off your car….and you can’t remember where you left you car brush. Just me?
Mine is just always in my car, even in the summer! That's probably because I'm lazy 🤣
Love the snow but damn it sucked driving to work!
It’s about the same as the top 3 counties got a state of emergency for. And here we are.
It's a bit much.

Coming down pretty hard in Lakewood right now, also about 3-4 inches on the ground
But it’s so pretty ❄️

Not much here at the shore, thankfully
Thankfully? You sociopath! /s
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Mostly I-95 it seems.
So far just barely a dusting in cape May. It can turn to rain now.
Fuck snow
True dat!
Going to be really cold too, we're not getting that easy mode, let it melt shoveling
Wanna build a snowman? This is perfect snow!!
Shovels!?!? I stare at it until it melts. Only one thing gets me to go out in the snow. Everything else can be delivered.
It's absolutely stunning outside! It put me in the Xmas spirit.
Update drove in south Jersey around 1 today highways look okay but still Icey. Local streets still looking little rough this was carneys
7 inches up here in Glen Gardner, Hunterdon County!
nah
i got 6 inches in voorhees, very happy with it especially considering apple told me less than an inch of “wintry mix”
birch bender snow as they call it...lots of power outages, stay warm peeps!!
