• I would've believed this story if it wasn't from TikTok where 99% of the shit said is BS

How can you confuse a text messaging app with commenting on Facebook?

That definitely happens. You don't confuse the two, you're just about to reply to someone's Facebook post, but then you see the notification of your boyfriend's message on the top of the screen. Your brain sometimes just kinda fucks up at that point when if you're zoned out enough. I guess it's mostly about being zoned out and paying 0 attention to anything that's happening really. I've typed replies to my boyfriend (discord) to my mom (Facebook) as well as to my boss (Gmail) but luckily I realized in time so I deleted it.

It's more the way she put it tbh. Really feels like she's just asking for attention and likes, doubt her story is true

When I was in school I learned how to type without looking at my keyboard so I didn’t get my phone taken and the amount of times I’ve said some off the wall shit because I’m not paying attention. I stopped doing it years ago but I accidentally type what somebody else is saying because I can’t pay attention to shit or multitask

  • I don't know if this happened, but I laughed too hard just imagining that it actually happened

  • Sometimes your distracted… or drunk. It happens.

  • This shit happens if you're in a rush. I once almost messaged an Airbnb guest my Google search about steroid usage (realised before I went through with it thank god).

The process is just like, "this is what is in my brain" "I must put it into text box"

  • um if preoccupied i definitely can see this happening. ik shes young, but my gen x mother has DEFINITELY done this sort of thing.

  • How has this been proven? Old people confuse it with Google sometimes, I've texted someone their own name instead of mine, people slip up.

  • I don’t believe this story but I will say sometimes when I’m talking to multiple friends across multiple messaging platforms I’ll sometimes respond to the wrong one and not notice til they say something.
