The amount of danzas I've played that just use this to escape and not engage is astounding. Hopefully this is a little psa.

Building mage + poly you can do insane damage. Use your leaf field, ult, hit the enemy (hopefully) then 1 shot them while they're stunned.

You're hitting 800+ with your ult, 800+ with this ability, usually 200/300 with poly. Then youve still got your 1 and 2 to keep you outta danger.

I love danza.

  • The problem with using leaf to engage is that you lose your escape. It's strong yea, but it's also a huge risk since you lose your best boxing ability.

Preferably you'd use your ult after the enemy uses their escape and THEN use your leaf so you can have that little zone around you to duke and dodge enemie attacks while firing your own autos.

At least that's from my experience YMMV tbh

I agree with you for the most part. I think what I should factor in is ones playstyle. Doing this you can completely eliminate an enemy in a single tick once your ult lands. If someone decides to push you you've still got your 2 (i run non aspect) which can also be escape/engage. As well as your 1, so alot of cc power left if an escape is needed (i also run agility relic).

Escape dont matter when you blow someone up

Theres more than one person in the enemy team. And what if the enemy doesnt die? You put yourself in bad position and fsiled to make it one-for-one trade.

I think you under estimate how small that cooldown is. Its a 14 second cooldown, and by the time you reveal yourself for the engage, its already down to like 8 seconds. You can easily survive with your taunt/aegis/Tremble for 8 seconds. And you dont engage alone, you engage when your team does. Its very unlikely you just die. Especially when you take out another on your engage.

So you spend 6s inside the ring before you engage?

And if you manage to make it one-for-one, it might be worth it if kts a good target. But can you make it consistent enough that you can afford to use your better escape for that and leave your shitty escape (ult) left?

If they didn't loki would be ss tier

Danza has his own self peel. A tremble, taunt, ult escape. Its significantly safer than loki ult in a fight

  • lol reading this post shows how most of these guys commenting are shitters.

proof in fact the way they comment shows they don't actually know danzas combo. i don't even see most youtubers do it to be honest. so i don't blame them.

you can turn into a leaf ult then insta auto and its a one shot.

while going full int poly and lots of cooldown.

and if you wanna meme you can get world stone for a 40 second ult that still 1 shots and with spear it becomes 30 seconds.

abusing leaf poly and massive cooldown even if they have aegis you get an ult every 40 seconds. base line that 1 taps. cause of leaf poly.

  • My friend always plays suicide bomber Danza

  • yoooo when people gonna stop running this shitter build it was 20 patches ago when it was relevant.

you dont do that much more damage and you lose out on having cooldown for most of the game and do like no damage until both 4 items in.

you only do like 1k damage with a hydra poly proc off of the 3. while sacrificing everything important you could be building.

you could also just build dreamers idol instead and still hit 1k damage with poly procs and have an active that makes you immovable and increases your damage further.

there are so many options and items that make full int or full strength just better.

Yeah, split builds only really work on tanks right now, for pure damage either full int or full strenght is just better.

Yeah! You get it. My build usually consists of something very similar to those.

It’s terrible in adc because you need DPS not burst in that position for objective and structure damage. The game is about more than just killing people.

    [deleted]

“Less seen in adc because of the poly nerf” it was fucking terrible in adc even before the poly nerf. That’s what I was replying to.

This same build works pretty nicely on Athena jungle too.

  • Not really. Anybody who’s played more than 10 minutes of danza uses this

    you overestimate smite players

Was just about to comment this. The majority of smite players genuinely couldn’t make it out of bronze if you made 4 clones of them and made a team consisting of 1 player and their 4 clones. The skill level of this game is so incredibly low it’s honestly astonishing. People can’t build, don’t know how to farm, have no idea what an objective is, don’t know how to vgs or voice comm, and can’t hit an ability to save their lives. The difference between someone in silver and someone in obsidian is ONLY the amount of games they have played. The thing with smite 2 is it’s legitimately a coin flip whether you win a game or not, so as long as you keep queuing up then you will win some games no matter your skill level or what elo you are in.

I disagree. For example i've seen people play daji and not use her chain during her ult. Alot of new people out there, alot of information for them to process. You'd be surprised what gets lost in the cracks.

What do you mean not use her chain? That’s the whole ult

Exactly. They just used the ult and stood there. Idk if they thought it was an aura or an escape or what 🤷‍♂️. Blew my mind tbh.

I think that’s more of the exception than the “rule” lmao

Its definitely a strong example, but it illustrates the knowledge level between players. I'm sure this player was on the lower end even though after looking them up they had played plenty of matches.

Some of us know every little detail and forget what it took to get there.

  • Great from the jungle or as a ability based carry. Its a risky proposition but you can nuke most squishes with it.

  • OP is the type of person that would sell wool to sheep farmers

  • The Snaddy Special

  • Thats the whole Point of Full damage danza….

Then this information probably wasn't directed at you (:

  • His kit is so fucking bloated it's insane lmao

It's great. I've been running him tank almost exclusively and after you get heartwood and regrowth online you're basically an unkillable CC machine.

  • Thought this was obvious... why the hell would I build int + poly on danza without knowing that.
