Do you know what I do not love? The changes being made to Fire Emblem: Heroes right now. The removal of new Tempest Trial+ units in favour of using old ones as rewards means that there are less new units being added, and the fact that it’s the TT unit (which is historically reserved for unpopular characters) being removed means that fans of lesser-loved units will most likely not get a chance of alts. This, combined with the fact that anyone who +10’d those old units have wasted their money for nothing, means that THIS CHANGE FUCKING SUCKS. INTSYS I WANT MY DAMN MONEY BACK.
If you get past the characters beung similar, there's actually not much to complain about. Because the characters are so basic, a lot of them are pretty honest lmfao
Marth is basic to the core and teaches spacing
Robin is pretty well done for a smash mage IMO
People diss corrin but i think they’re unique enough ti be considered their own charachter.
Byleth is also unique but has the taint of dlc privledge SO lmao
I absolutely love Fire Emblem (generally Pre-Awakening, as the changes in storytelling began to make me less and less interested). What I DO NOT love is Smash refusing to use a Fire Emblem character that does not have a sword anywhere in their Smash moveset, which has led many a Smash player to believe all of Fire Emblem is just anime people using Swords, sometimes alongside a few other weapons. I know Hector and Sigurd can use Swords, but I would have loved to see Smash incarnations of them not use them (I mention Sigurd specifically because he was originally considered to be a playable character in Smash 64 at one point). Heck, I'd almost be more excited if we got somebody who transforms instead of using any weapons, like a Manakete or Laguz.
Honestly I get why there are so many FE characters in the game. The original series is all about fighting, it’s on par with Pokémon for how well it fits Smash.

i don't mind fire emblem in fact i currently play the gba game which is charming
but man i hate how many fire emblem characters i will accept 4 or 5 characters but not god damn 9 of them
