Detailed explanations/references

Kendo 200hp

He's a demon hunter, and Dracula's castle is a great place to find them. Shulk's Monado Arts is similar to the boons from chapter 6, though boons are permanent.

*Jade 200hp (Rosalina), 50hp (Kirby)

The Kirbies are a reference to the Sprites from chapter 6. And Jade is the guardian of the Sprites. Not fair is a reference to the Cursed Realm, which Jade has been trapped inside at one point.

Daigo 200hp

Not many references here. Ryu's down b just looks like a "dark" attack to me.

The Night Rose 250hp

Suzaku temple is a reference to Demon's Dojo, The Night Rose's boss poi. The Andross assist trophy is a reference to The Puppeteer, the one who controls Night Rose during her boss fight against her will.

Shogun X 300hp

Umbra clock tower is a reference to the floating island from chapter 6, where Shogun X spawns. In Fortnite, if you get hit by this guy, you get knocked back pretty far, so extra knockback here makes sense.

  • Kendo would probably be better off as another sword fighter who has effects applied to him over time the longer you fight him. Similar to how other characters get powered up over time without being shulk.

Diago is also a noteworthy figure in the fgc so Ryu also fits him that way.

    Actually yeah that can work

  • Change Daigo from Ryu to Ken, White gi, same stage but Omega, stamina, favors neutral b and you get a different Daigo

Am I missing something with favoring neutral b? Is it the oni mask powers?

Daigo is also the name of one of the best and longest-lasting Street Fighter players of all time.

If you’ve ever seen EVO moment #37 or “the Daigo parry”, that’s him using the white gi for Ken. It’s just funny that Daigo and the Fortnite character have the same name, so SF Daigo is the “different Daigo”

Okay got it. Different Daigo from different games.
