Just wanted to end the year on a small high with a new feature release along with some bug fixes for often used features. A new ad type reported in the wild has been removed as well as a login nag.
This is probably going to be the last release of this year as I'm going to be off soon for the holidays. I've already started to see notices warning of review slowdowns and delays. So let's just hope reddit doesn't make any big breaking changes over the next few weeks so we can watch our cat videos in peace.
In case we don't need another release this year, (an early) Merry Christmas to everyone! <3
What's New:
- [New UI] New feature: Mute users directly from the feeds.
- [Old UI] New feature: Mute users directly from the feeds.
- [New UI] Bug fixes for sub ordering to handle reddit changes.
- [New UI] New ad type removed by default.
- [New UI] New login nag removed by default.
- A chunk of boring fixes and tweaks.
People often reach out to ask about donations (you can donate through the app), so here you go in case you don't want to give Apple 30%: Paypal and Patreon.
Thanks a lot, please check when trying to get out of a subreddit by pressing the back button on iOS safari to return to home page. It just refreshes the subreddit and eventually goes back to another website
I am seeing this as well
I've been seeing this for quite awhile, glad(sad) I'm not the only one!
Does it happen every time or after you've been scrolling for a few minutes?
Happening for me as well. iOS 26
Not all the time
But often enough
Doing the lords work, thanks for all you have done for the community.
I would have stepped away from using Reddit when they stopped 3rd party apps from getting access had I not come across SinkIt.
Good job. Sometimes when I zoom in and out, the reddit feed refreshes and I get lost. It this Safari thing? Can I somehow block refreshing the feed?
Unfortunately, this is probably a reddit web app memory thing which Sink It won't be able to fix. Sorry!
Thanks for your work on making the browser version more bearable and enjoy the break! Is there any plan to create an option for blocking suggested subreddits from appearing in my home feed?
Could you DM me a screenshot please? I remember blocking a version of this but a new version might have popped up.
