We haven’t seen each other in person for 3 years, and 2 kids. It’s time we plan a weekend away to chill.

We want to take the trip Feb 20-22 and neither of us care where we go.

I’ve used Skyscanner to search for the cheapest flights from RDU (my location) to anywhere in the US and found really cheap options. The problem is that the cheapest locations for me, are the most expensive for her out of RSW or PGD (BF’s location).

Should we just keep checking to see if there’s some kind of sale that puts us more in line with one another?

Or is one of destined to pay twice as much no matter what?

  • You don't need to find a place that's equal for both of you. If you're both functional adults, just look at the overall price of the tickets and split it.

$150 plus $650 is cheaper overall than both of you paying $450 each. Then have the cheaper flight person give the other one $250.
