I ate at a restaurant today so I don't want to eat much

  • Ive been trying ti get into tofu but the texture always off for me, how you like to make itv ? :3

    If you wanna go fucking crazy on texture, you buy super firm tofu, press all the water out of it for a few hours, freeze it over night and then defrost. Makes the most unbelievable popcorn tofu!

    But thats a lot of work, as long as you buy super firm you can just do one or the other. Thags usually good enough for me

    I'm vegetarian and honestly I just like it any way, this is just grilled

    I haven’t had freezing work out but pressing it and pan frying it helps. If you have time, you can begin pandering with a marinade (I use better than bouillon and some soy sauce), then pop it into the oven for a while to get it crunchyyy- it’s a decent nugget alternative when I’m not feeling chicken on a textural level

    Hard to beat a nicely crispped tofu with some good sauce and/or seasoning

  • Not done tofu in the air fryer yet. Any tips? Can't do anything too crispy or difficult to chew
