Eh... I think this recipe might almost work. The boiled pizza crust stage to baked phase might be faked... but, they did look pretty similar coming out. Adding salt and a little vinegar to cream and milk, then simmering and straining, will make something that tastes sorta cottage cheese like, which isn't bad on bread.

Effectively, it's not bagels and cream cheese, but, it is bread rolls and cottage cheese.
