Since I've been playing PLZA recently it made me nostalgic for when I played XY. Decided to pick it up again and I think this is the best luck I've ever had for DS shinies and I've been playing since Soul Silver (though I have played most of the OG games that belonged to family).
She's a Fletchinder now, I'm excited for shiny Talonflame as it was my old Ace when I was a kid.
I would take it as the Pokemon world rewarding you for taking care of the talonflame all those years back
First species encounter shinies are my favorite.
I was replaying Y after not touching it for a long time and the first Goomy I encountered was shiny.
I was midway through my thought of "Oh I forgot you encounter Goomy here" when the silhouette revealed it was a shiny. I almost dropped my 3DS.
Basically the same reaction I had and then ran to show my partner. Felt like a kid on Christmas.
