Hi guys,

My plants are suffering from a thrips invasion. Most of them are in semi hydro, but some are still in normal dirt.

I already tried beneficial mites, and a few other techniques, but I have way too many plants to deal with all the thrips by hand, and they always end up coming back...

Does any one of you know of a (not too expensive) systematic treatment that is available in Europe ?

Bonus points if it can be used in semi hydro and organic soil !

  • Hello! I looked into it here in Greece and I didn't find a systemic pesticide available to just buy OTC, they're only for professional use. I did find though Azadirachtin, pyrethrum sprays and spinosad in agriculture product shops.I believe none of these are systemic but they're effective against thrips.

  • Check substral celaflor spray from Amazon.de

  • Are there any other available in Europe that is in substral? Does anyone knows?

  • On Amazon Italy, I can find Albagarden, an insecticide for aphids and thrips, or Sanium. I use Albagarden's scale insecticide, and it works well.
