The Brain Worm thing from RFK only came out because he was saying he was so impaired he will not be able to pay child support. His claim was that the memory loss and brain fog would forever prevent him from working and so he was incapable of making money.

And he is now in charge of HHS...

Now y'all all know that worm starved to death the moment it touched ground in that brainpan

Worse, it died of mercury poisoning because he eats so much fish that his brain is poisonous.

    poor little fella.

Yeah, like, I get the brain worm meme is funny and all that, but it's likely not even true. It's more likely it's just a bog standard deadbeat dad's insane lie to avoid paying child support.

    He is self-diagnosed 🙄

Even still, if someone claims they're "too disabled" to make child support, how in the hell is he able enough to head the HHS? This country is a fucking joke

    The Grandpa Joe excuse.

I think it’s confirmed, but alas, we lost the work after he ate some of RFJ Jr’s brain. I wish this was a joke. Pour one out for the worm.

He should have to be reviewed for back-child support atp because he clearly was full of shit. Absolutely disgusting excuse for a human being.

Wait, do Patel, Hegseth, Noem and those guys have brain worm too?

    Yeah, it's name is MAGA.

I remember Walker talking about werewolves during his political campaign. Dude could barely talk coherently and he almost won.

It’s about time the paranormal threat was brought up during an election.

For far too long, werewolves have been terrorizing unsuspecting hikers, raping, killing, eating people, and selling drugs between lunar cycles. They contribute nothing to the US. And they’re somehow still allowed to vote in this country! Send them back! Vampires, you’re next!

Send the chupacabras back to Puerto Rico! /s (I am Puerto Rican)

Me too! And personally, I don’t want Pete Hegseth, Stephen Miller, or Matt Gaetz anywhere near my beloved island.

Oh, wait, you meant the other blood sucking monsters, gotcha.

Trump can't talk coherently, and won twice. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kevin Sorbo, though he might have started out there.

Gary Busey didn't come through any better for the experience, though he seems mostly harmless I think.

He cites the motorcycle accident and a 1995 cocaine overdose as events that strengthened his Christian faith

Perfect sentence to read in a thread like this.

I had a hunch but I couldn't summon up the specifics. Knew there was a reason he made the list.

well shit i did not know about that

I actually heard about that. My brother and I were in line for a different convention to open up, and there were people who either went to the Monster Mania convention or knew people who went there. They mentioned that Gary Busey did that.

    mostly harmless

Ford shrugged. ‘Well, there are a hundred billion stars in the Galaxy, and only a limited amount of space in the book’s microprocessors,’ he said, ‘and no one knew much about the Earth, of course.’ ‘Well, for God’s sake I hope you managed to rectify that a bit.’ ‘Oh yes, well I managed to transmit a new entry off to the editor. He had to trim it a bit, but it’s still an improvement.’ ‘And what does it say now?’ asked Arthur.

From stories told from back in the day, no one liked Sorbo and he was always a bit of a racist and mysoginstic asshole.

People forget Donald Trump was a registered Democrat for years.

    What a wild turn.

He was a Democrat until he needed people to actually vote for him.

    There’s that trump guy too

Scott Adams was always conservative. He just wrote liberal slop because his readers wanted it.

Scott Adams has always been a blithering idiot young earth creationist.

  • "This is totally different than how I was before the stroke" says guy who pulled a shotgun on a black jogger in 2013.

    Patrick Stewart.gif: "Acting'

  • 'Progressivism left me' is such a crock of shit. So you just stopped wanting better for your constituents? Shrek can fuck all the way off.

"Progessivism left me" says the man whose near death experience was a mere month after he gained office.

Did "progressivism" change that much in that short of time?

He saw he was going to hell and shrugged… yolo, right?

I’m dumbstruck that he can’t get recalled for turning against what he campaigned for and what people put him in office to accomplish. Even if stars align and democrats regain power, this guy is gonna be the one thing that keeps dems from doing anything to actually fix this country.

I’m dumbstruck that he can’t get recalled for turning against what he campaigned for and what people put him in office to accomplish.

Oh, you want immediately recallable delegates, do you? Trying to overcome the contradictions of liberal democracy, are we? Join us.

He also said that he’s never been progressive earlier this year. He’s just an opportunistic liar.

Interesting. I wonder what Fox and Co. think about his style and way of clothing now?

I thought the near-death experience was right before the primary?

He had a stroke in May 2022, before the primary and then had a separate, unrelated hospitalization in February 2023, just after he took office.

From the screenshot, I can't say which one he's referring to as his near-death experience, but i believe it was only after the 2023 one where he showed a sharp turn in his views. Anyone feel free to correct me

Reminds me of that cutesy, attention-starved twat Kyrsten Sinema betraying everything she stood for once she got into the Senate. I'm from the Phoenix area and have a few friends who worked on her 2012/4 House runs who were not quiet about how much they fucking hated her for that Senate heel turn.

Yup, I’m in that camp. She did a complete and immediate 180. Absolute betrayal, loooots of people were pissed.

She responded to us with boilerplate letters like she’d never even met us.

He did have that one big surprise kiss from RFK Jr. The worm needs to feed!

    [deleted]

No, he’s saying that his vote has been bought and paid for.

You people really don’t know much about politics, do you?

He got that sweet AIPAC money.

Honestly, I don’t even think it was that much money. There’s a story about him showing people dead/dying Gazans on his phone and laughing to his staff how convincing “Pallywood” propaganda is.

This is a fundamentally sick person.

And for those that don’t know, Pallywood is the derogatory term Israelis use towards videos of Palestinians that are negative towards Israelis actions. It’s Holocaust denial shit,

Politicians get bought off for shockingly low amounts of money.

"I stopped caring about other people" is not the flex he thinks it is.

    Dude got bought...

Nah, he was always this way just saw an easy way to make some quick and easy cash.

Like everyone just glossed over the fact he was a raging violent racist in the past and pretended that he was a “totally different person now”

Maine is looking to do the same thing lmao "Let's elect a guy who willingly bought Nazi tattoos! He says he's sorry! He says he's progressive!"

Yep, as sorry and progressive as the guy who held up a Black jogger with a shotty. Those dark temptations don't leave people and unless you're ridiculously mentally prepped for a perpetually stressful job where you are hated by EVERYBODY ALL THE TIME FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO then those feelings will come back and you likely won't have the fortitude to withstand the temptation to give in to them.

Funny how this wasn't a good discussion to have when he was running as a Dem and conservatives were saying it.

Now all of a sudden it's the right thing to say.

    Weird.

Plenty of people were saying it and it was met with the exact response I outlined.

Like can you read or are you just a shitty shill account?

Edit: based on the hidden profile it’s absolutely the latter

Do you really choose to not remember the pushback against any talk like this against him during the 22 elections?

    Yikes.

That’s literally what I said you barely literate Russian shill.

You’re not even doing a good job.

His brain damage might have turned up the baseline on his fear centers, irrational fear of the different is a foundation of conservatism

He realized that life is short, so be a self-serving asshole and yolo for himself.

if it left him he should leave office because his voters didnt vote for what hes become. he can re run later as a conservative and beg israel to pardon war criminals on his own time.

Mirror neurons left him, literally devolved.

He also chased a black man down the street with a shotgun who was only out on a run after work

He’s now all in for regressivism, or whatever else it was that filled the hole in his brain the stroke created.

Openly saying what we’ve all thought isn’t going to help him the next time he comes back to PA outside of MAGA country. Just run as a Republican next time so we can save the money ousting his hoodie in the primaries.

Even the most corporate of dems should see the problem. I know Josh wants to run for the White House but hey, I’d be okay with him taking a senate seat as a consolation prize if we don’t have a better option in ‘28.

That's the issue. No one will talk about an actual topic, you are just defending your label. That you didn't choose but those who can't think just have labels they are allied with...

  • Freed him from critical thinking, he meant.

What gets me is that ignorance is supposed to be bliss. But, I've never encountered anyone as miserable and filled with hate as a conservative despite them being the most ignorant people around, it's the opposite of being free.

Ignorance is bliss when it isn’t being contradicted. Their ignorance is constantly contradicted by reality so they’re angry and miserable

When ignorance is bliss, it's folly to be wise. It's not bliss in this day and age.

    Gave him freedom from empathy

Freed him from having a conscience.

  • "Brain damage made me conservative."

    Sounds about right

It made me dig more into being progressive. Had a frontal lobe brain bleed and it resulted in my being more kind, patient, and understanding. It’s admittedly been hard watching people connect brain damage to conservatism, even in a joking manner (Hershel Walker, RFK jr etc)

My dad had his frontal lobes removed in 1979 due to tumors. He turned into an unpredictable, violent sonofabitch as a result, but he remained a democrat until he died in 2021.

I’m so sorry, I definitely dealt with anger the first few months, it was awful and very unexpected. I had never been an angry person before, and I was randomly irate and saw red all the time. I eventually realized it was a struggle to understand what was going on, and a struggle to communicate how I felt, so I was able to work on that with my therapist and get on medication.

I wish I could give you a hug from here, I know first hand how mean he probably got. I can’t envision there was ever even a way for him to get better, I’d probably elect to keep the tumors knowing what I know now. That surgery seems cruel.

It's because Fetterman was always like this. The stroke just removed his ability to hide it. I hate that people just keep regurgitating this over and over about brain damage.

Because that's what it typically does for people, like dementia. It brings what was below the surface up.

Yeah, my brain injury made it harder to mask stuff I didn’t know I had, like adhd. I imagine it’s the same for others who may be trying to mask terrible belief systems

With regarding to masking for ADHD, as necessary as it sometimes is to function socially, masking is really bad for your mental health. :(

Oh for sure, I didn’t even know I was masking it!

That's so relatable. I didn't even get diagnosed for ADHD or autism until last year ...

    At the age of forty.

    😭

  • Yep. It burned empathy out of him.

I understand he was never exactly a paragon of positivity, but this is radical departure from the man Pennsylvanians thought they were electing.

  • Pennsylvania needs to primary this bitch.

Among the many incredibly dumb things about this whole situation is that despite the fact that he clearly hates the job, he's of course going to run again, and the establishment Dems will probably support him running again. They think incumbency in a purple state will ensure his re-election, and he knows being in a federal elected office is going to afford him better health care than he'll ever get on the outside.

He probably can't afford - literally, cannot financially afford - not to run.

  • Everyone who turns conservative does the classic conservative tactic of blame everyone else. “They left me”

    “Extreme leftist positions”

-not hunting the poor for sport.

-not letting sick people die in the street because they can’t afford the ambulance ride

-assuming a drug addict is a real person worthy of living

Even though he ran as a progressive. It’s the only reason he won his primary. He literally vowed to never be a “Joe Manchin or Kyrsten Sinema-type Senator.”

We’d be better off with Connor Lamb at this point… I’d take a centrist dem against a “Joe Manchin or Kyrsten Sinema-type Senator” any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

  • FR though.

My dad had a stroke, lost a golf-ball sized chunk from the centre of his brain and became angrier, racist and more far right than a previously sweet, caring man has any business being.

  • When is Bill Maher going to go to fox news where he belongs?

Pretty much all the networks are right wing pieces or apologists this point.

  • This is why it should be possible under certain limited circumstances to have a recall vote on elected federal officials. Switch parties? Possible recall vote. Suffer a stroke or other similarly debilitating medical issue? Possible recall vote. Become so unpopular that polling or signatures or some other indication suggests you have the support of less than, say, 40% of the people? Possible recall vote.

Of course you can't make it too easy, or conservatives will abuse it by forcing recall votes every time they see a trans person or immigrant and get all in their feelings about it.

But when your senator, elected for six years, comes out and says that he had a stroke and now everything he told you he supported he no longer supports? I mean, he's supposed to be an elected representative of the people. He's not anymore. That's sad, of course, but elected officials are not entitled to their seats any more than I'm entitled to my job. If I can't do my job anymore, then maybe I get paid disability -- but I can't keep my job if I can't do my job. He no longer is doing his job, because he no longer represents the people. So if he won't voluntarily GTFO, the people should have some mechanism by which to make him GTFO.

We fucking stood by him, and defended him through all of it. We had his back during recovery, the aphasia, the depression, etc... For him to pretend this "epiphany" was because of the stroke and not purely transactional is such a throat punch.

What you need to do is going out of his home and make noise. Protesting is the last resource before revolution. Remind him of it.

He gets a call at least once a day😂

  • A while back, one of my dad’s friends, who was fairly progressive, started getting really into the Tea Party conservative movement. A year or so later it turned out he had a brain tumor.

After surgery where a large part of the tumor was removed, he was no longer conservative.

  • I suspect there is something to this - the part of their brain that does threat analysis being hyper-vigilant as a result of damage, maybe? My father had a stroke and the effects on his personality were catastrophic. Very emotional and very controlling at the same time.

It's not a stretch of the imagination.

All known evidence and papers / research on the subject come to the conclusion that brain damage does genuinely tend to coalign with a shift towards paranoid thinking and decreased empathy, and both of those traits are significantly linked to conservative political beliefs.

That's what I suspect about RFK. Dad and Uncle died of assassination, then as he got older (and brain worms...), he latched into that and started seeing conspiracies everywhere

yea, the fact that they are so concerned with borders and people of color does sort of point to an innate fear response similar to schizophrenic being frightened by shadows and dark figures on the edges of their vision.

  • "I cherry picked extreme progressive positions, claimed all liberals believe those extreme positions, then decided that 'the left' abandoned me."

  • Education and then further education leads to more progressive and liberal populations. Brain damage and low education make people conservative. Cool.

  • Switching political stances after an election should immediately trigger a special election.

  • Ugh I hate the disgusting persecution mentality that conservatives have.

"Freed" him to speak out indeed.

There's nobody stopping anyone from speaking about the conservative bullshit beyond their own shame at how other people are going to judge them for their shitty beliefs.

  • Makes sense, empathy and critical thinking are higher brain functions.

  • When you think about it, being Conservative, being right-wing, holding those sorts of views - that can only come from some sort of psychological disorder. Those people are brain-damaged. There is something medically diagnosably wrong with them.

  • I don't think Fetterman even realizes what he just said. SMDH. He's an asshole, regardless.

  • “Progressives left me,” Fetterman claims. Bullshit. This imposter has very little connection to Progressive politics.

  • “I lost my empathy”

  • So, we can logically equate brain damage to being conservative? Got it...

  • Thinking with that big, wrinkly outer brain tends to lead to mild to moderate leftism.

Just using the stem is how you end up a reactive emotional asshole. So, far right. It's just very low energy to operate that way. In the short term, anyhow.

  • This always reminds me of my friend's dad who was always a huge lefty (real big on Bernie a few years ago), who had a MASSIVE stroke and was left with brain damage.
    He's a Trump supporter now.

  • Yes, in order to be progressive you have to dedicate yourself to the eternal march of progress. If you stop, progress will leave you behind. Falling behind is Okay, outright stopping is Okay, but you have to know that progress doesn't stop.

  • It freed him to speak out? So he is openly admitting he was pretending to be a democrat, just for votes?

  • Fetterman is so fucking funny because he really straight up said "I was progressive until I had a stroke that made me like cops and the right wing" and somehow nobody, not even himself, has taken that as a slight against the right.

  • Ah, the smoking gun.

  • same for every republican in 2025

  • Knowing that I donated to this man's campaign makes my blood boil.

  • Remove this pos from office immediately. He was elected to be a liberal all as a show just to get power and bow to Chump. He must be removed.

Seriously. Can he be recalled at all?

  • Hopefully PA frees him from his duties at the voting booth.

  • So he recognizes and acknowledges that he is now opposed to the platform he ran on and that people voted for… did he also mention he was going to resign?

I don’t see how there is not a mechanism to recall an elected official if and apparently when they pull something like this… it goes without saying that he should see the writing on the wall that he’s not getting re-elected.

I’m sure he’s just idling by the next few years, getting his takes ready for his next gig at Fox News. Which reminds me, what’s Sinema up to these days?

  • So its not genetic? Cool

  • During the election, right wingers were screaming from their top of their lungs that he couldn’t perform his duties due to the brain damage and potential disability. He couldn’t attend debates properly. Now they’re happy with him because the brain damage made him a republican. Guys, it’s never about the politics or the platform. It’s never about the people they represent. This is a football game with two teams and you’re either with them or against them. That is how these troglodytes operate. Stop participating with them in good faith because they have none.

  • "I dont wanna be progressive. i like the way things are now. "

  • I always knew this guy looked so off, like he might be a secret serial killer or something. Never understood why people liked him

  • If its not money conservatives will say he's a moderate.

  • I read this more as trying to get that "I love Jesus" thing going. Fascist conservatives at this kind of "come to Jesus moment" shit up, even if he's not directly invoking Jesus or religion in doing so.

It's also bullshit because he was a weird shitheel before he was ever elected, most people (including myself) were just never exposed to those facts. And of course then the opponent he was up against just like, nobody was going to vote for Oz over this guy.

But man, what a piece of shit. Lurch over here acting like he's a working class guy too good to put on a suit, like he's above Congress' pomp and circumstance, right until his Daddy Netanyahu shows up and suddenly he's wearing his Sunday best. Put the suit on you ogre, nobody's buying your bullshit anymore. You wanna be just another cog in the fascy war machine then you can dress like the ghoul you are.

  • If this was satirical, I would say it was too on the nose BUT IT'S REAL LIFE!

  • Nazi cuck, onsight always.

  • So not going to say it leads to conservatism, but it’s now being studied that traumatic events, and brain damage can lead to an extreme polarization of political views.

I don’t think anyone can argue that this is “good”

  • what i have been saying the whole time

  • It was either bis plan for some time or a bag the right size got dropped on his lap.

  • Why does this guy dress like a teenager?

  • There are several scientific studies that come to that conclusion

  • Crazy that a major medical emergency can turn someone into a shill for the medical industrial complex… isn’t that the opposite direction of common sense?

  • Racists and Republicans love excusing terrible behavior with that "one life changing experience" that made them have no choice but be hateful.

  • He's certainly got his "mansplaining" down to a fine art.

  • Enjoy your time left john. You won't be back.

  • IIRC weren't conservatives making fun of him and his dressing and the left had to defend him and this is the payback for all that.

  • This isn’t always the case. I had a hemorrhagic stroke at 23 and I am a democratic socialist.

  • His autobio has been illuminating. And not in the ways he wants it to be.

Suffice to say Fetterman is one of those guys who was ostracized as a child and will literally never let it go. The brain damage just made him more of what he already is: A resentful child who refuses to take charge of their own life because that would mean accepting that they aren't the most hurt kid in the world.

Don't get me wrong, depression is a hell of a thing, but you get the sense that even if Fetterman were willing to treat his depression (which he seems uniformly unwilling to do) he'd still do nothing but seethe. Dude has no hobbies, no apparent interests, and refuses to try to develop any. His favorite thing to do is sit in a chair and feel bad.

How he ever got an outgoing Brazilian baddie of a wife is beyond me. He's basically the Sims painting goblin meme but he doesn't actually paint.

    [removed]

lmao I said "posted HERE previously" you doughnut. Learn to read?

  • Guys who wear big baggy shorts 24/7 ........I just don't take them seriously.

  • He was always a conservative. He was raised in a conservative family, and grabbed the Dem ticket election as opportunity to gain power. He was never a democrat. He still dresses like a fucking toddler.

  • i think seeing how he was so manipulated when he could barely walk and talk is what changed him. Poor guy.

  • Sounds more like medical bills made him a grifter.

  • We could tell.

  • He suck. I will be voting for whoever primaries him.

  • Brain damage turned my mom into a conservative, so it tracks.

  • My friend’s mother had a stroke when we were in HS and afterwards she was a completely different (horrible) person.

After getting out of the hospital she filed for divorce took half, then dipped out on the family and shacked up with some young guy that was only a couple years older than her daughter.

Don’t think she has said more than a few sentences to her kids in years.

  • What if Israel implanted something in the brain while he was in the hospital.

  • The jpg on this is giving me brain damage

  • This is posted everyday on Reddit Christ

  • I'm not saying that being Conservative is a mental disease.

But I am saying you never see someone get bonked on the head, wake up and say, "Hey, we should leave those trans kids alone."

  • When I almost died, I realized I have to think about myself above all others.

  • Manspreader in chief

  • I’ve been saying since he had that stroke that this is not the own he thinks it is. But I do agree conservatives have severe brain rot which leads them to make awful decisions.

  • Or maybe everyone was so excited to have a "progressive" who "appeal to young white men" that no one bothered to ask him what his "policy preferences" were.

  • If you have less neurons to work with your brain is going to try and keep you safe with the most efficient method possible. Being scared of literally everything will keep you safe.

  • Fetterman gives off nasty vibes, imo

  • he turned conservative cuz he doesn't want them to send ICE after his wife.

  • Mom said it's my turn to repost it

  • That's when I know mind uploading is not possible. Ourselves are not only defined by our past memories, which are relatively easy to digitalized in theory, but also our various chemical levels and biological functions. Our experience and knowledge is only a very small part of who we are, and a great deal of us are still beyond control of our conscious.

  • My comment will go unnoticed probably and I’m going to say it anyways.

Even before brain damage I despised his wardrobe. I’m not asking you to wear a suit every damn day but just a little effort with maybe a collared shirt and clean pair of jeans would be nice.

I’ve always been afraid to say he looks like a slob and now his true colors are coming out I’m free to say this man is a fucking slob.

  • During the primary I was afraid to tell people that I wasn't voting for him. ESPECIALLY in Pittsburgh. But he won the whole state. Voting for Conor Lamb was not an option. But now I see so many people regretting their vote. At least with Conor Lamb you knew what you were going to get. It wasn't a progressive, but neither was voting for Fetterman, it turns out.

  • Of course, he realized he does not have time for the bullshit that comes with Progressivism - just like most of humans who grow up and have real shit to deal with.

  • I always thought he was a little retarded. Now i know!
