does anyone have a youtube guide or somewhere where i can learn area and volume? I tried james lu guide but the area and volume part got way too confusing. If anyone has a video that they would recommend please could you share it :)

  • For area learn about squares, rectangles, triangles, and circles. For volume rectangular prisms, spheres, cones and pyramids.

  • The best way for area and volume is to visualize.

If you imagine pi r squared as a circle, to make it into a cylinder you can just multiply it by h (height) to essentially stretch that circle.

If you are doing geometry with algebra, then its always useful to make a rough sketch on a piece of paper as you do the question, its the first thing I do on any geometry question actually.
