I use Verizon, and for a few weeks now there has been a dead zone for service in the vicinity of Montana and Ocean. It seems to extend from roughly Alta to Washington and inland to maybe 5th Street.

My phone will show full connectivity (four bars, 5G), but nothing actually works. Emails won't download, text messages won't go through, apps don't update, phone calls aren't received, etc. Is anyone else experiencing this?

  • Verizon basically a dead zone on 10th north of Montana area.

I swear there’s a dead zone by Montana and 1 block beyond 26th, near the golf course.

Full bars but nothing works means the tower you're connecting to is overloaded. Before the pandemic this was happening pretty much every weekend at least one day a weekend because of the city limiting cellular tower installations.
