Slow down buddy. You/we don’t want him to hit his ceiling yet. Plus, he’s not on McDavids level just yet & that’s fine!. CM97 last 25 games: 22 goals & 28 assists. Then 2 cup appearances 44g 106a +31 in 96 playoff games..
The fact we can almost put 71 in that discussion at 19 is truly remarkable. My dad & I had season tickets from 92/93-2020 & we saw so many great moments (a lot of heart breaks too) but we’ve never had a player like 71 & I’m so excited for the next 10 years. We need to bring a cup home be4 my dad & Plattner go to heaven.
2013/2014 wasn't Steph's ceiling either. I think the keyword OP used was "could be", as in that's his potential, not that he currently is the best player on the planet.
Fuck, imagine how much worse this sub will get then. It's already insufferable most of the time, I can only speculate how horrible it'll be having 9er and warriors fans talking like they know hockey and being aggro about it.
Already have a decent amount of it now, but fuck. It'll be a cesspool.
The ENTIRE history of the Sharks is loaded with wins ……….We were contenders for 20 years until the rebuild……..numerous studs………..presidents trophy , deep play off runs………a heart breaking Cup loss…….im a the biggest Celebrini guy , but for you to say we haven’t had many wins until 2024 , I can tell you haven’t been here since 91’ 😂
Overall, being playoff contenders with the talent the team had in those contending years, but not winning it all isn't a win. Getting screwed out of getting the chance to draft Lindros isn't a win. The 2019 WCF where the refs swallowed their whistles and let StL get a way with injuring Sharks players after Game 4 isn't a win. Being eliminated in the 1st round after being the Pres Trophy winner isn't a win. And the Pres Trophy title isn't as prestigious (at least now) as it once was.
"If you're not first, you're last!"
I'm just happy Celebrini is a Shark, but let's continue to gatekeep how long people are fans to be aware of the team's history.
You don’t really sound like a “fan” is you’re only measuring Cups my man. Shit happens , Stanley Cup is one the hardest professional Titles to win. STL was the leagues payback for making up what they thought was a sharks gift in the series before, And they took it back……..let’s not forget Sharks have the greatest comeback in NHL Playoffs history ! Celebrini is our GREATEST “win” so far but not our only , all I’m saying , stop being so negative or else Sharks won’t want to win shit for you .
After that goal, I sat back and thought, "Man, he's gonna be the bane of this division for years, isn't he?" lol. Glad to see they're on the same page.
Yeah i alfeady knew the kid was good, but this stretch that hes on.. with this specific game, was that same moment for me. This guy is special and I am thrilled to have the chance to sit back and enjoy it for years to come.
Get Macked buddy
Oh I like that! If anyone talks shit about the Sharks I’m going to tell them to “Mack Off” or “Go Mack Yourself” lol
lol, Get macked jack!
We used to get Quick’d by the Kings regularly so I’m all for it now
The Kings did play a damn good game last night, but Celebrini played a fucking great game last night.
Mack is a straight up cheat code in OT too.
It's all that extra space in OT, allows our young guys with speed to pop off
This feels like Steph in 2013/2014 season people are finally beginning to realize that Celebrini could be the best player on the planet.

Literally if he continues at the pace he is on he will end the season at 128 points, which is good for a top-60 all-time season. As a 19-year-old.
He is him. Build the statue.
Amen!

If there were a vent diagram between Bay Area sports fans and chronically online it would be a circle.

Lol great minds think alike.
will ferrell having to watch his beloved kings get beat out by the sharks is amazing
As a Sharks fan, I love the shit outta this phrase
I still can't believe he's a San Jose Shark. As a Sharks fan, we haven't had many wins but this is big!
How long have you been a Sharks fan ? 4 years ? We have the most wins in the Pacific , also.
I'm not talking about this season but in the ENTIRE history of the organization.
And I've been a fan since the beginning.

Sharks to the rest of the league: ‘get used to it’
