I also missed the part where Mack knocked the puck out of the air to keep it in the zone before walking everyone for the tying goal. Absolutely insane.
Like HP said in the vid, it’s not elite stuff, it’s super star stuff he is doing.
Tbh it very well may have been a mistake but he said “the San Jose sharks rookie” not “rookie year”.
People do often use the word rookie interchangeably with “young/youngest player”.
Just mentioning that as a possibility because HP is far and away the most knowledgeable and well produced nhl content on YouTube. There’s a zero percent chance he thinks this is Mack’s actual rookie year.
Like others have mentioned. The guys videos and ability to catch and analyze systems and micro details is pretty good. I’ve learned plenty of things from watching him that I didn’t learn playing hockey for years. Definitely watch the game differently now after watching his and others’ videos.
This guy’s videos are generally great but I am seriously miffed that he included the sharks as a biggest-loser team in an early season “top winners and losers of the season so far” video
Like what the hell kind of bizarre punching-down take is it to include a very obviously bottom-of-the-league team with literally no big expectations as a biggest loser of the season so far when they are doing bad as expected? It’s not like we made huge offseason moves and were supposed to be top of the division from day 1. Really really lazy.
And of course he’s been regularly talking about Celebrini’s insane performances since then.

Slowing down would be good, as would be a script that was fact checked to avoid errors.
