10 YoE in the same company. Worked my way from Hell desk to basically underneath the CIO. Base is 140k + RSU + bonuses. Not mag7, but a company that might get there soon in the S&P100. I cleared 570k on my W2 last year due to selling my IPO stock to pay for a down payment.

Ironically I’m remote, happy, and tackling interesting problems at work, but I’m eyeing a position at one of these bigger LLM or data companies in SF. The salaries are double mine, but the equity is a risky play and I’d be gambling for another IPO to truly get out of the rat race and FIRE.
