You can go to FPOP clinic cubao. Free ang iud if may Philhealth ka. If wala kang philhealth, u need to pay ₱500. Mabait ung midwife doon
thank you sa info! do you know where i can contact them? open po ba sila tomorrow?
They have Fb page. Search mo lang FPOP. Open po sila Monday to Saturday 😊
Sa FPOP ba, do they accept even if hindi ka pa nanganak?
update: just got the iud! i am on my way home ngayon. if may tanong kayo about it, fee free to ask. but in my experience:
i arrived 8:30am, likhaan qc branch yung main office and i was the first one, wala other patients.
after the procedure that’s when dumami na onti mga naghihintay sa waiting area, about 3 or 4 females. around 9:30am na ito.
overall i would rate the pain of the procedure itself as 3/10. given that i have a high pain tolerance. it was more uncomfy rather than painful. everything took 7 minutes, the speculum, cleaning ng cervix, other stuffs, measuring, and insertion itself was just around 7mins for me. tuloy tuloy and smooth because i was taking the pain well and relaxed, high tolerance talaga ko so it was easy for me.
the cramps after was the one that’s painful for me. i never get cramps pag may period ako kaya feeling cramps sa puson was new to me and yes masakit pala hahaha. the cramps after is more painful for me than the procedure.
they did not ask me to pay 3k or pay for the iud, they asked for donations lang because of cases na naaabuso yung “free services” nila since last year. they said if i can, we can have an agreement of keeping the iud for at least 2 years, and if longer, matutuwa sila that you kept your iud kasi it is valid for at least 10 years.
i do not have philhealth, but if may philhealth ka much better kasi philhealth will cover the cost.
Nagpa-OB ka po muna ba bago magpa-iud?
no po, but they will consult or ask you the necessary questions naman. but i do recommend getting a go signal from an ob. up to you ^
Thank you pooo. Will do if I’m ready. Currently po kasi nagpapa-check up na po ako sa OB ko for another reason. 🫶
oh i see, well i hope things work out for you. goodluck and take care if ever you’re getting the iud! ^

monday po. they are open monday - thursday 8am - 4pm. though maaga nagcucut off for iud
hi op! sent a pm🤍
i just replied!
When i got my iud, i brought my philhealth mas ok kasi dun sila bumabawas. Not sure pag walang philhealth, siguro mas ok na mag bigay ka ng donation kasi yun din yung isa sa mga source of funds nila
ohh okay po, qc branch ka rin po ba?
i got mine sa san andres pero all branches asks if you have a philhealth
It might be a bit far, but Likhaan Baclaran actually has plentiful IUDs in stock (my friend got hers at 1 pm). No PhilHealth needed.
baclaran is actually nearer for me, i opted for qc branch kasi yun lang open ng monday eh and im only available ng mondays. for emergency din kasi kaya agad agad
Hmm, I think you can also try their San Andres clinic. Last time I went in 2024, they required a PhilHealth card, but since you say you're nearer to Baclaran, San Andres might be a better option for you distance and schedule-wise
ohh is san andres open on mondays? tinignan ko po kasi sa website and nakalagay tuesday-saturdays
Sorry about that, I went on another day kasi so I didn't know huhu. I'm actually not sure, but if that's the case, maybe you can try calling them while OTW sa QC clinic? Either way, goodluck OP!
how much donation if no philhealth po?
Donations aren't necessary, though it's best to call and see if they'll ask for payment for the IUD/implant placement itself! They recently started charging for implant removal kasi, which is about 450.
i had mine sa QC branch, IUD copper. You have to go there before 8am, usually 3-4 copper iud lang binibigay nila per day low rin daw kasi sa stocks, so you have to be early kasi mahaba na agad pila before 8am pa lanv sa QC branch. Need mo philhealth number/ID they will verify it, i think free kapag eligible ang philhealth mo but i heard you have to pay ata little kapag no philhealth, not sure about that. You can call their number rin to confirm if may mag-iinsert, may times kasi wala yung staff na pwede mag insert, they also have a schedule, check mo rin.
thank you sa info! this is very helpful. is it okay to ask na is it really that painful? andami ko kasi nakikita horror stories on how painful it is
it is painful sobra, after an hour ma-insert saakin i was in throbbing pain. likhaan will give you a pain reliver i think 3 tablets yung binigay saakin. and after my first mens was hell as well, i was seriously considering to go sa ER that time pero ayaw ko rin since malalaman mg parents ko na i have copper iud. tiniis ko ng 9mons but i eventually decided to have it removed, sa likhaan rin, kasi i developed a bacterial infection nagpa-pap smear ako that time and chineck rin ng OB, i took suppository for 7days, ang pricey ng meds na yun! and every month sobrang sakit nya, never nawala ang spotting, my mens usually nag la-last ng 1-2weeks, sabi kasi sa reviews after 6mons halos hindi na daw masakit, but for me never sya nawala. and copper iud is non-hormonal meaning wala dapat fluctuation ng hormones but iba sya for me, i think nagdevelop ako ng depression, and my bf and i was constantly fighting that time, me mostly initiationg it dahil sa mood swings ko, i read so many reviews rin having similar exp, so, ikaw OP, try mo, every exp naman sa iud is different. but rare ako nakaka basa here na positive exp from women, other than less possibility sa pregnancy, pwede raw sex, and less overthinking when doing the deed.
may donation lang, and mapipilitan kang magbigay. also, recommended yung iud kapag nagka period or kakapanganak mo pa lang since mas open ata yung cervix dun? so yeah
Ff
Yes need philhealth and makita na active ka. Not IId pero implant sa akin, if no Phil heath thats 3k.
