• I..... I don't know what to say.....

After this..... Smg4 is officially gone...

It was a fun ride.... A fun channel... A fun community

All the characters that l have loved..... Some we hate

    There all gone......

Thank you.... For the adventures smg4.....

    I wouldn't say they're GONE gone.

Don't be sad it's over. Be happy it happened.

But most importantly, let us keep the spark alive. Even if the main show is done, it's legacy is now in the hands of those who hold this show dear. Let us keep making and sharing our own adventures, our own stories, our own fun, just like Luke did.

As the great spirit Mata Nui once said, all endings are merely beginnings, waiting to be born.

they're not gone, just that 4 won't publish video anymore

I mean..... There basically not here anymore Mario has officially left everyone behind to his own adventure

    So there basically gone

they're still alive and he can still go back to the castle off cam, it's not like he's banend from it by 4. I see it more as the adventures keep going but off cam.

Also Mario leaving in the pipe is meant to be allegorical more than literal- us leaving the world of SMG4 behind reluctantly. Mario represents we the audience who feel scared, confused and/or betrayed by Luke ending the channel- not just in the ending but the movie as a whole, and we along with Mario come to realize that the finiteness of all things our lives included is what gives them, and the memories they create, meaning.

I'm sorry for leaving the show a while ago, but I apologized before the end.

  • Who would have thoght that a dumbass like Mario would unite so many people and change their lives for the better...

If this episode doesn't give Mario and SMG4 justice I don't know what else would.

A good final movie with an honestly beautiful message at the end of it.

It was nice to see them again, in their original forms one last time.

And even if a part of me whanted all the characters to be featured and have a purpose... I believe is better this way.

Don't know what else to write.

I will miss those two idiots.

I will miss all their weird but awesome friends.

I will miss all the editors and writers.

    I will miss Kevin.

    And I will miss Luke.

No vote for me. This video doesn't need one.

Thank you all for this journey!!

  • Felt a bit like a classic adventure. I kinda needed that. That sweeping shot through the showgrounds, the cake, the hanging up the hat, it all got me pretty misty eyed. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, thank you, SMG4, for everything you’ve done.

  • Thanks for everything guys. I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I love how the ending was a Mario 64 reference as well, everyone coming back together... one last time.

  • I like how ending was made to leave the door open in case Luke ever decides to return to SMG4 were SMG4 can just walk back in Put the hat on again & turn on his computer symbolize that "you never know I might get spark again" type thing

I think if he ever did, it'd be less of him coming back to stay and more like visiting. That part of his life is over, but it doesn't mean he couldn't make one or two SMG4 videos once in a blue moon for fun/old time's sake when he's got the time and is feeling up to it, however unlikely it may be.

I said something like that about Team Four Star when Dragon Ball Abridged ended but Three years later we got the Buu Bits then resently we Toonami Abridged them doing Sailor moon so yeah you never know

    Very unlikely he'll ever return

he probably won't, though the chance is never zero as long as Luke's still a living human being

unlikely, but he's certainly keeping that option open... just in case.

  • Solid finale. Out of all the characters to focus on, Mario was definitely the best choice. The guy is pretty much the main character. Without him, there would not be a SMG4 both in the real world, and in fiction is guess. I don't have much to say. It's been a ride. Goodbye blue mario show.

  • We getting close to the end...... I update ya all in 4 hours

  • LONG LIVE THE KING.

  • Ill miss this fr its one of the best shows in the world prob be crying during it ill miss you smg4

  • My too prob

I cryied when mario said all good thing must come to a end i cryed so hardbro im reallygonna miss him love ya smg4

  • 10/10 no ifs ands or buts

  • The cake wasn’t a lie!

  • welp that's that...

  • I was not ready, dawg. Thanks for everything, Luke.

  • "Life at Best is Bittersweet"

    • Jack Kirby
  • i`d give this episode not 5 stars, but 10 :)

Thank you so much SMG4, even though i was a fan for just a year or two i still understand his decision, and i understand that he accomplished everything he wanted. I understand how many fans he raised and how important he was to the youtube community as a whole. He retired doing what he loved; SMG4 was one of the best youtubers on the platform, and as a new fan who already cried on first few minutes, i already understand how hard it is to the old fans, the OGs. We all will miss SMG4, and his work, his characters. Thank you for everything, SMG4.

From a silly little kid who had a dream, and a camera became of the most famous people on the internet, deserving every single little milestone and support he has ever had.

-Here lies SMG4, he was stinky.

  • this was the most beautiful yet saddest thing i've ever watched. absolute cinema

  • This show has been something I was watching since 2014. It's helped me get through hard times, and even as I started to grow out of it, I still stuck around...

This is the best finale it could've gotten, and as sad as it is to see it go, I'll always treasure what it meant to me, and the memories I formed watching it.

So long, ay SMG4, thanks for the memories.

  • I've watched since June 2020. While it'll be difficult to wave goodbye to such a large part of my life, as Mario said himself, "All good things must come to an end."

It's difficult to explain my emotions at the moment. Sad? Bittersweet? Hopeful? Who knows. Maybe I don't need to explain anything. Neither does he. Neither do they.

While this chapter of our lives is coming to a close, it leaves the next one clean, a blank slate for us to write our own, new adventures on, just like Mario, SMG4 and the crew did as we saw in the finale. SMG4: THE END.

You could even call the claim that SMG4 is "coming to an end" a misnomer in of itself. Why? Because the characters we saw for the final time today will forever live on in our hearts, and the collective passion of our community.

I'll say it again here: this chapter of our lives has been fully written and has come to a close. The next is unaffected by the smudges of both the good and the bad of the previous. Use this opportunity to keep our community alive, perhaps start your own, even. All I want to say now is: Thank you for the adventure. 🧡

  • I like how the episode mainly focused on the characters from 2011 (Mario, SMG4, SMG3, Wizard Rock), and it overall felt like a great way to end the show. It was nice to see Mario get one final lead role alongside SMG4. And the ending... turns out the cake wasn't a lie after all.

  • Apsolute Glitchy!

    🤚🥹✋️

  • Goodbye SMG4. And thank you for everything!

  • 10/10 5 stars perfect score
    You will be missed SMG4

  • It was worth the wait, and I'm glad I got introduced to SMG4 back in early 2012

  • Thank you SMG4, for everything...

  • That's it, huh...

Discovered SMG4 thanks to "who let the chomp out?" Probably around 2015 (I was probably like 5 or 6, my English was not in a Higher than average level at that time, it even caused me to know several swear words [not all of them OFC])

Even if I did kinda leave right then and there, (like in 2017 [i said the F word and my late mom didn't like it, went back in 2018 [i probably convinced my parents to watch it again after i showed them they censored a swear word or swear words], 2021 [due due to my concern regarding how old am i supposed to watch it], went back in 2022 [I turned 13 and watched SMG4 after I saw a new episode] and 2022 [the redesigns rooted me out] went back in 2023 [the It's Gotta be Perfect plot rooted me back in]),

Seeing it end is kinda bittersweet,

So, Thanks for all the memories, SMG4.

  • Oh man... What an incredible finale. This was so good. One very minor nitpick is that Wizard Rock should have been the Game Guide instead (one of the oldest characters in the show), but that doesn't change how much i enjoyed this. This was an almost-perfect sendoff to the entire show.

    And the final line.

"Thank you so much for watching our show."

    No.

    Thank YOU for making it.

    4.8/5.

Aight, imma head out. Bye, have a great time!

  • Feel like John Cena retirement

  • Well, it seems this is the last time I'll be doing one of these, so let's go.

    Story: 8/10

Surprisingly deep for Mario. He reacted the same way a lot of us did at first, but after some reflection he came to realise that it doesn't have to be as bad as he thinks. The final hug between him and SMG4 was the sweetest thing ever, and I like to think they still all hang out afterwards, just not on camera.

    Action: 4/10

But that's not a bad thing. This episode wasn't really action-focused, so I understand.

    Drama: 10/10

Is it possible to hate something in a positive way? Like, I hate how Mario grieved the loss of the channel so badly, but it's so good for him to eventually come to terms with it all. And how he looks back at the alternate SMG4 before stepping through the portal... this whole thing made me cry bro

    Comedy: 9/10

This whole episode just made me reflect. I laughed a lot but because of the nostalgia. Usually that's just a way to force a happy reaction out of audiences, but here it's totally natural, not forced at all.

    Overall: 10/10

I could go into detail about how I'll miss this show and how it's impacted me, but I'd just be a drop of water in the ocean that is this community. SMG4 is such an enigma, the spark that ignited... well, a lot, actually. And to see all the main characters receive the send offs they deserve over the past couple months is... it makes me tear up. I'll always hold this show near to my heart, and I'm already eager to see what Glitch makes next.

    Thank you, SMG4. And goodbye.

  • NOOOOOO COME BSCK PLEASE AHHHH

  • Damn..What an amazing final episode..

    Farewell, SMG4.

  • It was everything it needed to be, one final feel good moment for fans both old and new 🥲

  • This genuinely brought me close to tears man. Goodbye 4, he was stinky, but we loved him 🥹

  • Sad it is the end of SMG4 but everything always has to end at some point just because no one can live forever and if you are the main character then no one else can take over.

  • Bro....I am not ready for it to end.....but it was a fun ride. And who knows, maybe they will return in a few years. But for now, so long SMG4.

  • just two words: absolute cinema.

    5 star episode

  • The message alone warrants a 5/5. Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.

  • Doesn’t matter if you are new or old SMG4, we'll miss the channel

  • Thank you... For everything!!

  • I began watching this show when I was 8 years old sometime around May of 2015. I am now I’m in college heading into my spring semester of freshman year, so to say this show has been a part of my life would be an understatement. It’s going to be weird without the 11am Saturday uploads, but in a way that’s what this episode was conveying??Eventually everything has to end, and we have to learn to move on with it.

So, from the bottom of my heart: Thank you for being a part of my childhood SMG4. And I can’t wait to be back here in like a year when the nostalgia begins to kick in lmao

  • This movie hit different…

  • fuck this was actuaally pretty emotional (even more since I've watched the show every saturday for a while , I starded at least between 2010-2015), mario was pretty emotional in this last one, I can understan dhim being pretty sad about it (I was hoping they'd reveal the blocked room there, I guess 4 blocked it to avoid the other making wishes using the wizard).

  • So long Luke

    Thanks for everything

  • It was fun to watch while it lasted. I’m gonna miss it till the day I passed away.

Thank you for the entertainment I’ve been enjoying, Luke/Smg4 🥲

  • Perfecto.

If I see him in person, I'll say to him, 'Thank you, Luke. For every adventure you've shown us. It was a fun ride in my life.'

  • It was a very fun ride in itself.

  • Im pretty sure theres a gif of the final hours scene with meggy and the gang saluting but i cant find it

  • Thank you SMG4 for the memories, for the characters, for the humor, for everything. I will miss this channel.

    So much nostalgic references here.

  • I'll never forget you, SMG4.

  • Its sad, but I understand 👍

  • I'll miss a part of my childhood gotta admit it was a good "It's a wonderful life" I think it was a good idea to make a what if scenario so they wouldn't mess with the other send off videos, I also liked how sincere it felt all this final stretch never felt like "oh yeah look how good is our channel" but more as "look how many stuff we have done". I also find charming a lot of editors, not only shockhat, used a lot the 64 models for this last video

But obviously, the best part was close to the ending when they played scatman's world which is a propper 2010's + Scattman's revenge (one of his first successful videos) homage where it was them just toying with project 64 (I was close to shed a tear). I would really cry if it's revealed Luke edited that part 😢

But what about the door they wanted to be a mistery with the final reveal, was it a satisfactory explanation? I really never cared for that door, so yes. Thanks, SMG4. If one day a random old video pops out in my feed, I will probably watch it

  • holy crap this show means so much to me. I’ll never forget smg4🫶

  • That was-a-so nice.

  • Episode was ok tbh

  • You get irony in that image if you watched Team Four Star

  • Its hard to hold back tears after watching this. The channel has been going for almost 15 years without an end in site and now, the journey's over. It feels weird, one second I'm waiting for a new episode to drop every saturday and now..... now I'm saying goodbye. This channel will always have a special place in my heart.

Thank you SMG4, for all the laughs, all the tears, everything. I wish you and everyone else luck on your next ventures.

  • I still feel very weird about this. The ending vid was truly a great and fitting ending, but the ending itself still feels like it was a very 'quick' decision. But anyways, o7 SMG4

  • Guys made an smg4 au as a finale damn

Love how Mario is the stubborn guy who doesn't want things to end

And, yeah, they got it. The reason I came back was because there is a definite closure to the show (that's what mario learned i think), coincidentally I liked most of their final batch of episodes too, and this is one of them

Dear God I really am a sucker for old smg4 shit, I was giggling at stupid stuff why am I giggling lmaooo

I think everyone who worked for this episode got their shit together, like seriously

Wait why is mario the guy who exits isn't smg4 the guy who should leave--

The sm64 credits are a nice touch, I spent a lot of time analyzing the cake frame at the end (I was discussing about characters with someone else for longer than I expect, fuck me im a nerd)

You're welcome smg4, it was worth it coming back for a bit, Uh bye

  • It was a fun ride honestly. I've been watching since 2013, I've never really missed an episode and I even rewatched the entire show multiple times. I never thought the day would come where I'd watch the end of my favourite show on YouTube, maybe even of all time. This show helped me get a laugh through my low points in life. I don't know what else to add, I'm not much of a good writer. I'm just so glad that I got to witness this amazing show through the first couple years of its existence. It will always keep a special place in my heart. Goodbye SMG4.

  • That was-a so nice!

The only thing i disliked about it was the fact that the Mario Recolors only showed up like twice.

This is a minor complaint though, because everything else i thought was perfect.

Also: THE CAKE IS FINALLY REAL!!!

Goodbye SuperMarioGlitchy4. Thanks for the 9 years (for me) of fun times!

  • Well, that video hit me hard. The last video really threw the SMG4 craziness with call back with past episodes. It tells us a message very good. If SMG4 never retired, then it would go through flanderization. Like the Simpsons a series that never ends.

It really feels bittersweet, seeing Mario leaving from the pipe where he first begins. A farewell to everyone, and SMG4 putting his cap on the hanger and opening the door for new adventures. Been a fan of this series since 2015.

The final video really made me relate to Mario. All things must come to an end. Kinda reminds me of hearing the final episode of Stampylongnose's minecraft series. (That's my childhood Minecraft Youtuber.) A youtuber had so many ideas but eventually they will run out of ideas or get bored of their series.

    5/5 I'm not crying... You're crying.

Thank You SMG4 and wish you the best on your next adventure, and the future of Glitch Productions.

  • When he comes back from his other adventures… so will I.

  • Damn, what a way to end the series. I loved when Mario was recording videos with AU SMG4 while Scatman plays in the background. What a great send off to the series. Also, fair warning: The later you get into the episode, the blurrier the screen is gonna get.

I’m gonna miss this series, man. Hard to believe it’s over. SMG4 played a big part in shaping who I am today. I’m glad Luke ended the series on his own terms though, and gave they gave it a satisfying conclusion.

Thank you for all the adventures, SMG4. 10/10

  • I can't deny it, this finale was, in one word, awesome!

The show as a whole always holds a special place in my heart, even after it ends. 😥

  • You were good son, real good. Maybe even the best.

  • Such a crazy journey. Been around since 2018, when I watched If Mario was in Baldi’s Basics with my best friend. All the laughs we had together.

Can’t believe I stuck around as long as I did. From a middle schooler to now going to college. 7 whole years, on a Mario show. It’s been real fun. Hope Glitch shines brighter than ever, and thank you SMG4 for being around for so many years.

  • I’m just sad that its over and it’s best to have the series on a high note by giving a melancholy ending but in a acceptance mood that the time has come

Thank you smg4 and so long forever

  • It doesn't feel right for something like smg4 to ever end...i guess there's still hope it might return through a glitch show or something, but i dont think thats how luke and kevin want it, i think this is really meant to be the end, so i suppose this is it, at least we get to see all the content we loved so much becuase their gonna keep the channel up.

  • i commented this on youtube already but ill say it again: I never once cried because of SMG4, until this very video. Especially when Mario stared at past SMG4 and said hes going to go a long way.

  • What's the sad music that plays when mario enters the portal?

  • as someone who didn't even know SMG4, RIP ig.

  • What a great way to end it, gonna miss this channel

  • SMG4 wasn’t just a YouTube channel, it was a place we always came back to. The videos were loud, chaotic, and full of laughter, and they helped a lot of us through tough days. Now that SMG4 is gone, it feels strangely empty. Something that was always there suddenly isn’t anymore. Even if the videos stop, the memories stay with us, and so does the feeling they gave us. Thank you, SMG4, for all the laughs and all the years. You will not be forgotten.
