Okay, since Peach's ending came, I think it is the valid time to do a review about her part entirely

Jumping from the conclusion, as mentioned in the story, the reason why Peach was saved and recieved an ending was because SMG4 himself says so.

----------------------

So based on that idea, "Peach has a positive ending just like everyone, is this a mission complete?" I think a while and answer, not really, the "process" seems missing.

As we know, Peach mainly participated in early SMG4 where everything is for fun. But after the modern era where story arcs take the place, Peach doesn't stand her own meaning when she lacks a story arc like all other SMG4 main cast. As story participation becomes the basic standard for modern SMG4, Peach cannot really go without a story arc, just like how Waluigi feels mistreated in official Nintendo games.

Or we could predict that, in SMG4 team's opinion they probably don't find any particular use or story ideas about her story arc, so they come up with an arguable excution to move her away.

But I don't really agree that Peach has no value for story arcs--- especially in her monster form, she would had been very useful in every arc being the longterm antagonist and brining chaos from time to time. It's rather weird to turn her into a monster but not put her monster form in more story uses. Her ending could also had been much more meaningful if the battle lasted for years and Peach finally turns back to normal in grand finale.

The ending also provided another unused idea that Peach could had scouted more minor characters like Swag as her minions to build her own group if she already returned to normal in earlier story arcs (you know, SMG3 gang exists, sure can Peach gang) and use that for more story ideas. Besides, as a ruler, it made perfect sense for her to not want to move to SMG4's castle, so I don't see the need to seal Peach and her castle since SMG4 and Mario can just move away with some random excuses (hey, remember Mario didn't even live with Peach in Nintendo's version also).

Meggy's transformation is especially the counter evidence that turning Peach and Mushroom Kingdom into SMG4's design was also an option, if SMG4 just worried that Mushroom Kingdom would not fit in the later story arcs. I think the fact several SMG4 cast like Saiko and Tari cover Peach's personality and role, and Meggy being the lead heroine of modern arc, feels more like SMG4 chose to not use Peach for the sake of pushing other characters, not really because her lack of potential to pull out the same role in modern era.

Overall a positive ending managed to save the story from D- to B, but I think the team missed many chances to enhance the story to A rating with Peach's deal. Do you agree with these or you have other ideas?

  • I would say Princess Peach has always been Had some moments and everything else And usually hang out with the crew during the more early days Before the modern era the story arcs Where she didn't really do much aside from the anime arcs during the first part of the anime Arc

I would say during the modern era she was kind of One of the two things I don't like talking about as a touchy subject When it comes to fictional characters But became basically Became a Karen ( Beating the dead horse at this point if you just call someone like Karen) and after let's just say it's going to be perfect Forgot about her and she And let's just say we forgot about the deal with the demonic group until Chris and swag's final adventure

I say she is pretty good but kind of lost to time to be honest until the final Adventures

    > it's going to be perfect Forgot about her

Imperfection would not make the whole perfect. It's simply just a drawback.

The problem is modern era is story-based. It's inevitable for people to judge your story if you want them to read it.
