Just wondering what is generally the best dosage for inattentive adult ADHD or SCT/CDS? And if ir, sr, or xl is better. I heard higher dosages are generally better (400-450mg). Wondering if anyone with ADHD or SCT/CDS does good with 300mg or if they need to go higher
I did an ADHD diagnosis interview yesterday and was told that I dont meet the criteria for ADHD, but the interviewer did mention to discuss the dosage and time/release form with my prescriber. I was at 450mg XL for like 2 months or so, and went back down to 300mg, not sure if it helped much with inattention and other ADHD-like/SCT/CDS-like symptoms, but dont know if i should go back to it or stay on 300mg XL and maybe add 100mg SR or 75mg IR
I don't think anyone can tell you. It helps greatly for dopamine related depression apparently. There is people here who benefit from it and leave the group. Many feel no relief. Best to discuss this with your doctor.
