I’m not a big Harry fan, but it’s nice to see him supporting this organization. I listened to a podcast earlier this year with one of the firefighters after the California wildfires and came away so impressed by their mission and their work.
This is nice. And I bet it will be a great memory for these guys for a public figure to meet with them and acknowledge and celebrate their contribution.
When royalists respond this way it really makes me wonder about their values. Like, do they not themselves do anything bc that’s a job for royalty? So bizarre and stingy hearted.
I'm sure some people will be big mad about this but it is awesome to see Harry supporting such vital work. I'll save you a full rant on how broken the American criminal justice is and how we disproportionately lock up POC, especially Black and Latino people. And because we often have little no re-integration support with people get out of jail, our recidivism rates are obscenely high which is a bad thing for absolutely everyone.
I’m not a Harry fan, but it’s silly to be upset about this. It’s great he’s bringing attention to the program.
California depends on incarcerated people to fight fires, and until recently these inmates were banned from becoming fire fighters when they were released from prison - which is crazy.
Good for him highlighting an important program and supporting the men who’ve risked their lives to save Californians and their property.
Thank you. Also, these men and women worked HARD during the fires in LA. California has fire crews from prisons that help out in times of extreme need. You know they were doing this for nearly nothing.
Good on Harry for meeting with them. They helped their communities in need during such a dire time.
And most of the time, they are not able to use their newly learned skills to actually become firefighters once they are released, which is so stupid and a waste of talent that could serve the public, in addition to being cruel and unfair to the formerly incarcerated.

This is an amazing program and his presence will bring it more visibility and support
The Anti-Recidivism Coalition does incredible work, and anything to bring more attention to them is fine by me.
Programs like this often slip through the cracks. Harry is giving it the attention it deserves and that is a good thing.

If it is something he cares about and supports, good that he’s willing to do it.
'Leave Royal life,still act royal'
Yeah how dare he still do charity work!! /s
Only royals are allowed to meet with organizations and celebrate public causes they care about?

Look man, I thought about volunteering at my local food bank but then I realised it's just a bit above my station, ya know?

I, dor one, would love if we could have a nuances conversation about criminal justice reform in America, it is so desperately needed.
As for this topic, all I can think is 1-2-3rock (sorry I religiously watch fire country)
