my favorite thing to do is to put a small item in the trunk and then proclaim that it only fit because i have a wagon. Have I told you that I own a wagon?
There are SUVs that do better performance wise and are more utilitarian.
There is the GTI which is arguably a better version of this made by the same manufacturer.
Then there’s you- hyper focused on driving an elongated jetta with a hot air intake because you think it’s cool- so cool you take it on twisties where Miatas pass you on the straights.
Not to get too serious with it, but most SUVs these days are barely any more practical than wagons. The wagons have a more boxy inner shape, whereas the SUVs and crossovers are actually quite small inside
For context, I fit nearly twice the amount of cargo in/on top of one of these wagons than in a Nissan Murano
Factory is a hot air intake. The air filter is inside the engine cover. It's like 10 feet of intake going around the inside of the engine cover, this probably has lower iat's. Mine has a proper CAI in the bumper in front of the duct and it made a huge difference.
Yea they left a lot on the table with the 2.5 5 cyl as to not compete with the GTI. It's a great motor and sounds amazing. If you swap to an IE Intake manifold and tune for 91 it picks up 40hp and revs to 7500rpm.
The 07k will never die, but your choice in wheels needs to. I got rid of my Austins as soon as I could. Heavy and ugly is a wild combo to choose to put on a jetta.
I had a 2014 TDI Jetta Sportwagen (post recall and rework), was very boring but performed well. I was one of the lucky ones that had no issues the 2 years I owned it.
I think an actual horse wagon would perform better than this
Incredibly grey. One of the greyest thing I've ever seen.

Not to get your car in a roast crossfire, but your comparison is a Murano. Lol.
Regular traffic
5 cylinder with a hot air intake 🔥
making it slower means I get the vroom vroom noises for longer 😎😎

On my mk7 the factory I take is kinda cold air just under the hood. Added a block off plate to hold off the hot air. He’s got the extra cylinder tho.

I understand why your favorite thing is putting a small item in the trunk of your wagon, since it's the most interesting thing this car has to offer

Bitch, I carry home worse shit in a sedan.
And mine's fancier.
How did you manage to find a car so boring that swapping to stock Mk 7 GTI wheels was your first choice just to feel something?
JK man, love me a good sportwagen!
Ah yes, the classic "who needs a truck?" photos. I applaud you for realizing what the rest of the world already knew.
You're right, this car shouts "I LOVE shoving small items in my back end"
07K, sweet
Wow that K&N filter had hopes and dreams, until you crushed it into a VW.
Mega horsepower intake action 🤘
Car salesman slapping the roof: “This bad boy can fit so much virginity in it because it’s a wagon!”
You: Sold!

Hope your sunroof didn’t leak like mine did.
slicktop, but the rest of VW's unreliable crap seems like it's going to get the best of me, instead
Could have been worse…you could have gotten a TDI. DPF my ass!
I can't belive bro made an audi A4 look interesting
Is it bad that a Golf Alltrack is my dreamcar and had they not discontinued it in Canada I would be driving one right now instead of a Forester?

I wanted one of these wagons, but after reading up on how much Volkswagens are a piece of 💩 i didnt even want to look at one.
I see you replaced the factory airbox with a hot-air intake. Typical Arschdüse move.
Volkswagen ❌ Müllwagen ✅ (Trash Car) yeah this says it all nothing more to say
see you in the 5K timing chain replacement
Real station wagons haul 4x8 sheets Birch. They have so much room for wood they plaster it on the outside just to show off.
This is no station wagon. It's barely an "estate"
Bet he’s seriously thought about a chest tattoo of this car.
Does the air filter swap make a difference? I have an '11 that I'm keeping until they stop making gas.
No 1.9 TDI = shit VW
