I remember searching online if there was another option then the long way around and saw a post on here from like 6 months ago. Most people said there wasnt but I did find a relatively easy way there.
Only needed to run over trees to clear the section that has sand now. Its almost all in the sand quarry radius so easy to haul sand!
Remove a couple rocks on the trail with the wood forwarder claw and voila!

  • This is the first time I've seen someone actually make a road to the castle. Most people just slap a bridge going up to the broken castle wall. Good job man.

Thanks man!! Sometimes I wonder if I'm overcomplicating things but that's part of the game I guess haha. Now I'm intrigued by the bridge option you are talking about havent seen that way. I figured since the Malamute scout vehicule barely goes up the backside it wasnt the way!

You're playing the game properly. The bridge option is just a lazy way to get it done faster but usually involves pushing the ai vehicle up there. I'm sure if you look up "easiest castle route" you'll find it but your way looks nicer

Feels like with this game I dont care if it takes a while! I love spending time doing stuff even if I maybe accomplish one objective in a sitting.

Don't ever worry about being alone with "overdoing" things in this game, my route to the castle is paved from tip to tale, I daisy chained larger dumpers where you've built most of your sand road, honestly yours is a better shorter path mine too.

Yeah this game is cool! I just do stuff the way I want and love taking my time! Its great to see how people do an objective their way.

I did the same road as you.

Awesome! Kinda make sense since there was a section easily clearable!

  • I built a bridge up the backside and went in through the hole.

Didnt even think of that haha

  • Not me over here sending them up the entire path since I'm too lazy to make a shortcut. Did the whole thing in sand and left it at that. Surprisingly, the only issue i had, was when the truck would crest the hill by the bridge. It kept wanting to wiggle, slam hard right into the wall and ride it until it drove off the cliff. Took me a few minutes to get the pathjng just right.
