Physics in this game is really impressive when compared to other games in the way that stuff doesn't start shaking and flying everywhere when stacked. Sand and water physics too of course..
-But I found the controls for cranes and other boom operated vehicles to be so horrible I couldn't enjoy it fully, and eventually stopped playing. Still got my money's worth, and might pick it up again at a later point if alternative controls or custom bindings are added.
Thanks, tried both. Unless they added something else...
Coming from farming Simulator, that doesn't have optimal controls either, it was a huuuuge game changer when I rebinded everything so I could use the two sticks on a controller as dual joysticks.
On Gold Mining Simulator and other games, this is the default setup when steering excavators and other boom operated vehicles. Way more fun and realistic

I didn't like the crane at first either but you can change those in the settings. Much more realistic than standard settings

Legacy crane controls helped.
Between 45 and 55
Aren't Beams more cost effective to make?
And waaay easier to transport, but a guy stacking that much shit probably won't care about easy and fast transport lol
2 mobile bases. 1 at pipe plant to put into inventory. The other at construction shop to sell pipes. No transport needed.
That, sir, is a bit of brilliance. Thank you for sharing your insights.
Virtually impossible on hardcore mode, but yeah nice on a normal playthrough!
That is dedication !!
Just to see how much I can pile on and how much money I could get out of them, not that I need it.
I recycled all steel on Kernal. I was expecting a medal or something. There are so many barrels.
I left barrels out. There are just way too many of them but may go back and get those.
