Is there an efficient way to carry those big pipes for recycling? My patience doesn’t allow me to carry them one by one with a crane and fall over a 100 time.
This is by far the most efficient way... I'll add the non rusty zhik will also get you up most tricky hills ands well worth the investment. Also a mule works as good as a container if they aren't handy
There's a recent post of someone using the Wayfarer to transport 3 of these at a time. They start by placing an old pipe or steel beam on the middle (longitudinally) and strapping it. That will create a divider of sorts, so when you place the big pipe it lays to one of the sides, allowing you to place a second one to its side. Then a final one up top.
I dislike the Wayfarer, because my life isn't bound by such arbitrary things as perfectly straight paved roads, but I will concede that it was a great way of going about it.
The other day I did that at the north garage on kernel... except I spent the next ~20 minutes (I was watching something on my 2nd screen anyways) trying to use the big boy crane to put it back on its wheels. But no combination of 4 lines attached to the truck/1 line off the side of the bed would really turn it up.
I actually had better luck pushing it up.. but then it was so top heavy it just fell back over. At this point I fear when I do actually get it on its wheels... the first turn I take will end with it on its side again.
You need the big ass crane and a big ass truck simply put. I see some have already kindly commented the precise models of the crane and truck you'll need!
When the distance is short, I carry them directly with the crane. I despise myself for that because it looks stupid as hell and is probably violating every safety regulation known to man, but I literally cannot be bothered to load the pipe on a truck, drive a tiny wee bit, then drive the crane, then unload, then get back with the truck for another of those pipes, then drive the crane back... Yeah, you get the idea
The big Zikz transport can hold 3 of these. Just need a big crane to get them on there. I've heard the Pike can also drag these with the winch although that would of course be back to one at a time.
I juat hit them out of the way with the dozer. Then ill take them for recycling later with the Heavy Crane. I hate Wayfair or whatever its called. Its gets stuck near sand. So either pave a path from the area with pipes to a main road or just use the crane. I use the Heavy Equipment transport for collection of materials. Its almost never gets stuck.
Yeah, I feel you. The only way to use the Wayfarer is with a big crane on standby and a second monitor to watch a whole season of whatever, because you will definitely spend the time on "non exclusively driving activities".
If you have a lowboy and a heavy crane, that’s probably your best bet. You can fit all three pipes on the heavy transporter if you know how to stack them. As far as I’m aware, nothing else is strong enough to move them safely.
If push comes to shove, you may be able to swing the crane around 180 degrees and drag them sombitches to where they need to go.
If you use the zikz and put a container on each side before loading, you can stack at least 3 pipes on that.

Could you share a screenshot please?

I chuckled and updooted.
Nice one bruva...
FFS people, get that Friday feeling and stop being boring! Fuck this shit, going for a smoke...
That's a screenshot, but not quite what they were asking for lmao
You can easily go upto 5. 6 and 7 are problematic.
Why?
I tilt the containers on end, 2 each side, can stack 5 pipes on the Zikzy!!
The bigger trucks can carry them, so you can use larger cranes to load them and recycling.
But personally, I use the truck you have there to just drag them out of the way once it's attached to the crane.
You can also just bump them around with the dozer
Big ass truck.

Can you imagine if there was a governing safety group that fined you every time you made a violation haha
Overloading a vehicle: -$7,000
Improper loading: -$2,500
Load exceed crane limit: -$5,000
Pouring 6,000 tons of sand to build a road across a body of water instead of a bridge: -$25,000

I made a vid and posted of putting a broken pipe in the middle of the trailer then you can put two large pipes on each side and one on top

Ziks
Personally, I use the SMI, but you need good roads, otherwise it's useless.
pray.
Ooh you’re not gonna finish the game
MULE drag em
With big ass crane. Or push it.

Crane, zikz minimum
Wayfarer, but you need 3 of 4 steps from road building. On some Maps you need all 4 steps to drive with Wayfarer. 3 Pipes easy.

With a big ass truck lol
The mobile base with the winch pulls them easily
Just get them out of your way Broski. Even if you're going for the 5k achievement, there's really no reason to waste your time on those.
This. Not worth the time or hassle. Move them and move on!
