Recently, I returned to the game. And I realized that now dump trucks consume sand in autonomous mode.
Has anyone else noticed, or am I doing something wrong?
This symbol I see appear from the beginning of the game but it never affected my playing. The trucks always dumped sand "infinitely".
Now, they just stop halfway, and I have to do everything else manually, because if I put it to do it again, it comes back from the beginning and only dumps the sand always in the same place.
In this print, I am on the first DLC map.
Sorry for the bad English, I used a translator.
So it is telling you that there is no Quarry in the area so you'll either have to bring sand or the scraper to finish or construct the road. Hopefully that helps you on your Craft adventure.
Thank you, I thought that was it, but I wasn't sure. Have you also noticed that dump trucks now consume sand, rather than spilling indefinitely, in autonomous mode?
They are infinite if in the radius of a quarry, otherwise they consume sand from your dumb trucks
I get it, at first I realized this, until I made a road outside the quarry area. So, as you confirmed this to me, it was probably a bug that has now been fixed. Thanks!
Do note that for the purposes of "infinite sand pouring" on road infrastructures, the scalper does NOT provide this. You need to refill it manually if it's not in an active quarry zone, even with the scalper.
But if you use the baikal or aramatsu as a mobile depot you can potentially chain them together and still have infinite sand to make the road
its saying there is no sand avalible and they wont be able to refill and continue the route after running out of sand, this can sometimes be solved by just brining one dump truck full of sand to either side of the road you need to build and having them "meet in the middle" especially using the very large dump truck.
Thanks, bro. I think it was a bug in my game. Because my trucks always poured sand infinitely, in autonomous mode, even outside the Quarry area. Now, the standalone mode has lost a little meaning for me, I'll probably use it manually.
It seems to only work autonomously if you’re making a road that is part of a mission. You know, the ones with a marked start and end zone? It won’t put those anywhere that doesn’t have a quarry supply area. Outside of missions, I do it manually.
That makes perfect sense, great observation. Thank you very much!
Gamer the DLC is FULL of mission roads that don't have quarry zones near them...
OP is on the first map.
And?
And…I guess reading comprehension is difficult for you?
Apparently realizing the game is more than the first map is hard for you.
No easy sand.
