im on PC my monitor caps out at 60/120/240, im able to just set my cap at any of those, but i was having the same problem when i went up to 240hz/fps, should be in the graphics settings, if you're on console im not sure sorry anything 120 or below should be fine so if yuou have it set unlimited that might be the problem.
I have the same issue. But I play on console I dont change settings 😂 I noticed that it happened more when I had a lot of vehicles spawned in my area.
I had this problem, it happened when i increased my fps cap from 120 to 240, just dont go over 120, i had a bunch of issue come up when i went to 240.
I'll give it a shot. How did you set your fps cap to 120? All I have is either 30/60/unlimited.

Alright you are a godsend. I just set my max fps to 118 on nvidia control panel for Roadcraft and indeed the sand tips completely normally now lmao.
This reminds me of Destiny 2 fps issues where the lower your fps is, the less damage you take in the game.
