This is the biggest logistical mess I've gotten myself into so far. Was attempting to haul 20 logs to build the private damn on Deluge. Should've been simple, right? 😅

Firstly, I loaded one log poorly and it was dragging on the trailer tires, so the Greenway forwarder was exceptionally slow on this trip. Secondly I forgot to fuel the thing up before leaving base, so I made it about 2/3 of the way to the dam before running out.

At this point I said "fuck it, I'll just use the warden to finish the job." So I drive it out there, transfer the materials and get it to the destination. I was thinking, "man this thing is pretty OP". But then I spent a considerable amount of time just trying to get the resource zones to activate. Then once I did, it just flung all the logs across the map instead of piling them up. 🤣 It was annoying, but too funny watching the logs go flying, so I couldn't help but just keep flinging them out there.

After spawning the heavy crane, the Voron, and another hour of gameplay I was able to recover all 20 logs. Was actually kinda fun seeking them all out, better than loading them all in the forwarder again. 😅😮‍💨

  • I did the same thing in this map, and had a similar issue with logs flying. Thankfully I only needed to find about 5 of them? As funny/annoying as it was, I still use this method if there are more than 5 pcs to deliver.
