Do not take this as criticism, it is not, because "good enough" is by definition good enough, and it clearly got the job done for you.
Personally, I would place white box girders at the front of the bed vertically, the rolled tracks lengthwise at the back of the bed, resting on the rear gate to slope forward, fence roll all the way forward on the tracks, barrels stacked behind it, with the excavator bucket and trashcan resting on the back. That would probably be a little bit more stable, and keep the weight a little better balanced over the axles.
I could be misremembering the exact sizes of the items though, because it's been a while since I played.
No, you're absolutely right. It could have been stacked more efficiently. But it wasn't a competition to see how much I could load. I was just collecting what was nearby, and I didn't feel like unloading everything to stack it more efficiently. I took it as it came. 😌
I see space for two more barrels.
Hey we all start somewhere
I stopped loading this small junk, it gives almost nothing. Only the big chunks of metal and broken cars are valid.
It is not about the amount of recycling you can do. More so about how much you can shove onto the bed.
For what exactly? For the same of doing so?
Why the hell does anyone do anything?

Exactly. I thought it was fun to charge up another item. And another. And another. And another.
Unfortunately, there was nothing left within easy reach, otherwise I would have kept collecting.
Absolutely correct - I only collected what was within reach.
Nice stack!
Love the barrel from the crane
Counterweight 😄

That's 95% of loading for me. I just do the hyper efficient loading when I'm trying to prove a point (or being pedantic) here on the subreddit.
Otherwise it's "oh, I need X resources, and that right there is conveniently located to fulfill the need.
I think you can fit a tractor in just fine
