The Democratic Party has not won the majority of the white vote since LBJ. Now what was it that LBJ did? Some kind of rights act. The truth of the matter is that decent white people are going to have to work to marginalize their barbaric cousins. Because this doesn’t end with Trump. As demographics shift they WILL attempt South African apartheid minority perma rule.
Yes, we should have banned anything to do with the Confederate. We should have made it a point to let them know that the confederates were traitors, and they were lucky they got to keep their lives.
But we always have a chance to rectify our mistakes.
