The whole afternoon? Sure mate, whole afternoon to myself, like did you forget a 9 to 5 job system exists, or something like overtime exists? You have to wake up at 6 or 5am, eat your meals, shower, commute to your workplace, start working, eat your lunch, work more, go back home by 5 or 7, or even 11pm if it’s overtime, commuting from your workplace, get tasked with assignments, have to figure out how to prepare for next day’s work schedule, go to sleep and have no free time except for holiday vacations. It’s a huge mess, even as an adult. As a kid, you technically don’t have to study that much unless it’s for exams. As an adult, until you retire, you have to work to sustain yourself. Rinse and repeat, and this is how adults tell you their lives are sh*tty until old age.
For high school, I had to wake up at 5am and commute and got home at 6pm. I still had to do homework and study. Now I mostly work from home or I work from 8am to 2pm snd because I have a car, I get home in 15. minutrs.
9 to 5 sounds like an american issue.
I practically have free time from 2pm to midnight.
I don’t do much of the homework and I still had free time. As a kid. As an adult, the only way I can get my free time is if I work hard. That’s where I’m somewhat privileged, yet I can’t say the same to other Asians, presumably East Asians, South East Asians, South Asians and West Asians (Middle East). Most families just restrict their children to work. But that’s where it gets worse, when they work, they got to think about work and presumably overtime. They also have to be in the workplace (not saying working from home is a bad thing since East Asians need to have this feature terribly), but the work culture sucks a lot in Asia and Africa.
I’ve heard that the Japanese and Chinese suffer from working conditions based on their outdated work culture and basically lower salaries. It’s just that bad. That’s why being an adult sucks for most people. I say most people because they’re working at workplaces, not from home.
More like adulthood: dopamine doesn’t hit like it used to and things just aren’t as fun as they were when you were a kid. So you spend all your free time scrolling
More time as adult, no homework.
Only true if no kids
I mean kids are optional but true.
Homework? Homework is manageable. Work life isn’t.
You go to work, you come home and you have whole afternoon to yourself. You don't have to waste it on homework and studying.

Sorry to hewr that. I have so much free time that I'm losing my mind.
I see. I also have free time too, sooo I can’t speak for myself (as in I don’t work even though I’m an adult).
Agreed.
When we where kids we where all wishing be an adult but look at us now
I have an RTX card and ive used the rtx in one minecraft demo.. thats it
You have no free time at childhood if your asian
Hence Thanos balance rule is proved...
Asians and Africans don’t have free time in their childhood. Only some do, and that’s the large minority.

No free time? How? You work 8-10 hours out of the day and you’re awake for 16. 6 hours of free time.
