    Hey can you do that for r/ DIYDecorInspo too? Something weird is going on there (I can elaborate further if needed) but it definitely is full of bots (as commenters and posters). I didn’t make a direct link bc, like I said, shit’s weird there and I don’t want my account to be jeopardized.

    The single moderator of DIYDecorInspo (Numerous-Bite-4849) seems to be the owner and operator of this bot ring. They've posted the most affiliate links on separate occasions and all of them plus all of the others in this sub and also the sister sub they are also a moderator on (Creative_home_Decor) have tons of amazon affiliate links and they all link to the one single amazon affiliation account. It's a grift.

    I went over some of the posts in DIYDecorInspo looking for suspicious activity. I noticed that litleSarita is a frequent poster in that community and, yep. They post amazon affiliate links to that same affiliation account.

    Their group (If this really is more than one person) is being sneaky about it. in one of their recent posts somebody actually prompted them to share where they got the product they showcased (Giving them an excuse to post the damn affiliate link) The comment who begged them to post the affiliate link was Reasonable_Hawk1057. So I checked Reasonable_Hawk1057's profile... and yep... they're doing the exact same thing to the exact same benefiting amazon account.

    The amazon affiliate links Reasonable_Hawk1057](https://www.reddit.com/user/Reasonable_Hawk1057) shared in the comments in one of their own posts 4 months ago here in r/Creative_Home_Decor - redirects to an amazon product (of course). The amazon affiliate account in all of these users links can be seen in the tag parameter of the URL: &tag=minaabouzzi-20

    In all of the affiliate links those two subs have seen, it's always for minaabouzzi. The individual who profits on a sale via their links.

    litleSarita's affiliate links are linked too. Reasonable_Hawk1057 and litleSarita are part of the same spam/affiliate campaign going on in those two subs. Whoever the operator is wants to make money.

    I also noticed Sufficient_Mess8533 is also posting affiliate links with the minaabouzzi-20 affiliate tag.

    If I were to run a scan on recent posts in those two subs I'm sure I'll find many more related bot accounts driving this scheme.

    Here are some other users spamming the same affiliate links as the moderator of those two subreddits, all of which resolve to the same &tag=minaabouzzi-20 parameter:

    • One_Tourist_3320 (Account suspended) with their bot post here

    Here are some other brand new accounts asking affiliate link bait questions in those threads - but have not posted one themselves yet:

    Overall it seems that moderator is trying to forcefully grow their two subreddits illegitimately with many repost bots while also trying to peddle their amazon affiliate links at the same time on all of those accounts including their own.

    It also looks like the real users of that sub have caught them doing this a number of times now, even pinning their affiliate links to the top of the comment sections of the reposts made by their various bot accounts, got caught by the commenters and then nuked half the comments and their pinned advertisement too.

    Staff should probably put a stop to that.
