The american R is the hardest letter for me to pronounce in english. In british english you can kinda pretend the R doesn't exist but speaking in a british accent is so weird and you look like an idiot for doing it if you're not british
I think you can still ignore the R and end the word with a and it would sound british. I know that there are different pronounciation of words between regions in the UK so that might expalin why some will pronounce the r
I have a rough history with R. It was my first academic failure - a frowny face in Kindergarten because I wasn't getting the angle quite right on the little r.
Don't care about letters, but I hate the number 2. It thinks its all knowing and superior to everyone. It also thinks being divisible for like half of all numbers is a virtue. Smartass. Its not even aware that it stinks.

What about when a word ends in “a?” I know at least one guy from England that pronounces those as “ar” or “er”
